  1. Understand, I was trying to say that customers like Matt (and me) showing interest in availability might prompt Squadron to place an order with you.
  2. I have the 1970 Crown kit and the Revell 4583 & 4584 kits in the stash. I have to admit I've never compared them as I considered the old Crown kit as more of a collectable...
  3. Perfectly horizontal pipes would be rare, you typically want some slope, however slight, to aid drainage and/or flushing. You don't want to leave residue in a local low spot that could contribute to corrosion or contamination.
  4. I have inquired if/when Squadron will stock a certain kit or item and I usually get a quick response concerning their plans. You might email them at info@squadron.com on FL item availability, it might spur them to restock. No vested interest in Squadron, and not trying to undermine direct sales, just relating my experience. 👍
  5. I thought the mold history was Crown >> Revell >> Minicraft i.e. they are all variants of the 50+ year old Crown kit. edit: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/crown-455-boeing-b-52h-stratofortress--169722 .
  6. More succinctly, 0.385 x (48/72) = 0.257 It just the ratio of the scales.
  7. @AFammo PM email sent 👍
  8. Correct, #2 wing had 5 degrees of dihedral. My copy of Aero Series #30 by Steve Pace states #1 had a "slight" amount of anhedral while the Jenkins/Landis book states #1 had no anhedral. The J/L book also states the intermediate wingtip position on #1 was 25 degrees and on #2 it was 30 degrees. I assume the difference was due to the 5 degree wing dihedral on #2. An interesting factoid, the folding wingtips on the XB-70 were roughly the same size as the wing of the B-58. .
  9. Suggest exploring this forum, MLP etc discussed here sometimes. http://www.collectspace.com/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Mercury+-+Gemini+-+Apollo http://www.collectspace.com/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Space+Shuttles+-+Space+Station Not a lot of activity but older posts may yield nuggets. Also consider signing up and asking for info.
  10. Jenkin's books are deep in history and technical details, but only on the orbiter, ET & SRBs. His books also cover lots of alternate shuttle concepts during the shuttle's conceptualization period. Dennis worked on the STS program, and he now heads the program to display Endeavour at the California Science Center. https://californiasciencecenter.org/about-us/samuel-oschin-air-and-space-center/go-for-stack
  11. 1/48 Night Falcon from kit #06108 I will check my stash tonite when I get back home .
  12. I may have this sheet, let me check. Where are you located?
  13. I have a ton of shuttle reference books. I highly recommend the book(s) by Dennis Jenkins. His three volume set is pricey but IMO worth it. His earlier book covering missions 1-100 would probably suffice at a lower price. Not (m)any 3-view drawings but tons of technical drawings and photos of virtually every part of the entire STS and associated systems. https://www.amazon.com/Space-Shuttle-Developing-Icon-1972-2013/dp/1580072496/ref=sr_1_36 https://www.amazon.com/Space-Shuttle-National-Transportation-Missions/dp/0963397451/ref=sr_1_13
  14. Have you seen the PDFs linked here? https://web.archive.org/web/20020806164507/http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/shuttle/reference/sodb/
  15. Pretty sure harsada is a chatbot.....
  16. Are these drones capable of defensive maneuvers? If not then shooting one down would be a lot easier that a target that was twisting and turning.
  17. There is a short time limit imposed by the forum software between subsequent posts by the same user. For example, I just tried to submit a second post immediately after my initial post and got this message: "New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 12 seconds before submitting." Is there a way to lengthen this interval to, say, 1 minute? 5 minutes? That could at least reduce, if not eliminate, the number of rapid-fire spammer posts. .
  18. Forum software doesn't allow uploading PDF files, you have to provide a link to a file sharing site like Dropbox etc
  19. If you can't find the Hasegawa kit these two kits included bomb bays, possible source for bay parts The Revell kit is an upgraded version of the Monogram snap-tite kit, with bomb bay and landing gear parts added: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-4460-f-117-stealth--250271 The Academy kit also included a bomb bay https://www.scalemates.com/kits/academy-2107-ghost-baghdad--1104859
  20. SBARC : "LAST VISITED December 15, 2023"
  21. The intermediate position was 25 degrees. NAA drawings refer to it as the " high speed transition position". I believe your pic was taken during the rollout of XB-70A-2 on May 29, 1965.
  22. One forum I was on (years ago) required the new member to reply to 3 or 4 existing posts before they could start a new topic. Another observation - every spammer and chatbot account I have seen immediately disables the "Recent Profile Visitors" option when they create the new account. Is there a way to flag new accounts that do this? or deny/delay account activation if the option is disabled before an initial post? Just spit-balling here...
  23. Illu, have a Snickers 👍
  24. That looks amazing and very realistic. I'm afraid to ask how much this kit sell for... 🤐
  25. I thought his suggestion was full of holes...... 😂😂😂
