  1. Not sure what to call them, the "folding flaps", but the fold-away shields on both sides of the HUD. From photos it almost looks like there were two types, one totally flat and another with curves, or am I just misreading the camera views and it's the same item? If they're different, which style is appropriate for a Desert Storm bird? This one almost looks like there's no curve at the tip, but maybe there is.... https://b-domke.de/AviationImages/Nighthawk/3655cu2.html This link shows an example with obvious curves on the end (left unit is extended, the right
  2. Hey there John, thanks for the very kind comments! YES, how did you know I put Flash (basset hound) into the Sheriff's car? Found a resin one which I thought was a bit oversized, but I altered it to have the correct collar (black with stainless steel studs). You can see him best through the windshield view in this thread: As far as the whole fleet to date, here it is: https://hazzardnet.com/forums/topic/9137-hazzard-fleet-so-far/
  3. Wondering if anyone "happens" to have the PE intake screen to a Hase 1/72 F-117 Stealth Fighter. Seeing as I messed up the portside one of mine from the Eduard set, and am not crazy about buying a whole new set just for one screen (ah, the agony of choice).... Thanks folks! jollyrogers5 at hotmail
  4. From a non-smoking home, two new bottles of premium automotive model paint from Scalefinishes.com. These amazing guys match factory auto colors. For sale is a pair of 2-oz bottles of greens that turned out to be not what I needed. I only used enough to spray the bottle cap to see what the actual color looked like. Otherwise, brand new. They come pre-thinned and ready for airbrushing. Both are Ford green shades from the late 60's and early 70's. 1) Ford P Medium Green 2) Ford 4 Silver Jade Says "enamel" but I've found lacquer to be an easier cl
  5. Thanks for the kind words Andy! It's almost 7" without the head-mounted antennae (or whatever they are....), and about 7 1/2 with them.
  6. Decided to dabble in some nostalgia from my teen years. Loved the look of the destroid mecha in the Macross/First Robotech War (depending on how one follows). 1/100 Arii kit. Biggest challenge is how not to make this look like a toy, especially with the awful, poorly-planned seams and injection marks. Lots of drybrushing after airbrushing, especially around the presumably more-worn feet. Head-mounted searchlights (or whatever) created with acrylic gemstones filed to the correct size, the facets sanded off, then clear floor polish painted over. Thanks for l
  7. Had this non-functional Jolly Rogers Vulcan lighter in my collection for awhile and am ready to find a better home for it. Does not work, and does not completely close. Still a rare piece of authentic Jolly Rogers memorabilia. https://www.ebay.com/itm/135396534851

  9. Thanks my friend, you're too kind! Yes, I wish I'd started building Fujimi Corsairs years ago! I've done three, and have loved each and every one of them.
  10. Bardzo dobja (forgive spelling)! Always loved that kit despite its shortcomings, and this is one of the best builds of that kit I've ever seen! Only suggestion I would offer would be the white ceramic color inside the afterburners. But really a first-class build, far better than what I ever managed with it!
  11. Thank you! I *believe* it was Flightpath Decals, purchased from Joy Decals' site for airliner decals....
  12. More sold stuff removed; not much left....still need good homes for the rest, better homes than I've been able to provide....
  13. Wow...never in my life wanted to do an Eagle, but you make me reconsider...this is stunning!
  14. I was 17 when I bought the original 1/48th release when it came out in 1988. I know it isn't everyone's cup-o-tea, but I totally loved it. So ugly that it grabbed my heart. -The two tiny weapons bays were combined into one, barely enough for a single Kh-31 antiradiation/antiship missile (similar as the Super Etendard carrying only a single Exocet missile). -Gear bays redesigned to accommodate the new weapons bay, including new forward maingear doors also being used for secondary speedbrakes (ala MiG-31). -2 smaller bays for self-defense IR-AAMs. -Plumbing and w
