  1. Thanks for reposting the video Brian. I'm not a P-40 expert, but I will say what I do know. I will put my head on the block, with the broad rudder (short tail with a fillet added), it ia a P-40K (Kittyhawk Mk.?) as per your boxing states. The fillet was a quick solution until they lengthend the tail. I noticed in the video, the pictures of the attackers were SAAF 5sq (GL-.) flying Tomahawk's, if the producer got his facts right is a nother question. The SAAF did use both. Annyway, your build is great. :)
  2. I'm looking fro this video, I can't find it? Blunce, I agree that in the SAAF, DB is 2sq, as GL is 5sq. Are you sure that the P-40K (USAAF designation) is not Kittyhaek Mk.III (Commonwealth designation)? My 1/48 Hasegawa kit labels it Mk.III with that tail, and in some of my books. Just trying to clear things up. That is a great build, learning some tricks from you, thanks for posting.
  3. Hi Try this link: http://hsfeatures.com/features04/mirageiiidmp_2.htm Better late than never.
  4. Thanks for this post Andrew. I felt like dumping my ESCI Mirage III E when I looked at the contents of the kit. After seeing the mods you made, I realize there's hope, I will build my Mirage III EZ out of this kit. Congrats to your son. Looks as if he has better skills than me. Once again, thanks for your tips.
