Question to the Tomcat experts...Was it ever used in action as a FAC, loaded with unguided rockets such as Zunis? Years ago back in 1998 FSM had posted an article regarding an F-14 Fast FAC (VF-103), loaded with Lgbs and Zuni rockets on the shoulder pylon...Checking my books/magazines as well as the net and posting the same question on FB, I didnt find any relative information or photos to confirm that...anyone???...is anything out there???☺️

Just an idea...built a long time ago when the Monogram was the only offering in 1/48...but I dont mind...the blast walls are scratchbuilt...

Soooo...after a looong time here we go again... ...some work to make the 33 to look like a J-15...

Hi everybody!...Well, I am gathering information regarding the J-15. I have the Kinetic Su-33 and the Dream models conversion set, sooooo...I am starting with the cockpit. Since I am planning to represent the "yellow" trials aircraft...it might be different for these "trials" aircraft, what colour is the interior...any guesses ???...grey???...blue???...yellow???

LoL...!!!...I am going to send them my questions in "Greek"...and they will answer me back in "Chinese"...!!!!!

Soooooo...!!!...what's the point of using red "paint" instead of "yellow" in the Chinese carrier....???

HHHmmm...very interesting remarks Grey Ghost...Actually the only reason I decided to built the J-15 diorama are all these colours present...plus the "yellow" one I am planning to built...I just love the weathering on this frame...!!!

Thanks guys...!!!...Thank God a friend got the Trumpeter kit of the aircraft carrier, so I will have some "input" on the dimensions/shape issues of the elevator. Now...since you all noticed the folded pitot...any ideas how I will have to represent that ?...is it as simple as "cut&drop"... Oooo...I wish...what do you think...

Hi everybody...!!! Well, I am the happy owner of the Su-33 from kinetic. I am planning to built the J-15 with the help of the Dream models conversion set. As always I am planning a diorama along the lines that the following photos show, the J-15 on the elevator. My biggest problem is that I don't have any dimensions available...ok I can estimate those, but nothing accurate, and my second problem is that I don't have any detailed photos of the actual elevator...anyone???...heeeelp...pleeeeease!!!!

Lol...can you imagine what I am going through...???...I try to do some "modeling"...but I cant stop laughing with myshelf...

OK...here we are...1/4 of a portion of an airplane...just to mention, that the airbrake's doors had nothing to do with the kit, so using huge quantities of filler I "closed" them and with a pencil I draw the outline...lol...it was the only way I could "save" the day...
