  1. Hi all, I'm currently building the Czech Model T-34C, which I'm finishing in Moroccan markings. The kit comes with 4 rocket pods, but I can't find a single picture of one armed this way (or even armed at all). Does anyone have a reference for the armament of the T-34 in Moroccan service? Alternatives to rockets would be nice as one of my pods is damaged. Many thanks for any help.
  2. Kit, printed by Cartograf for Hasegawa.
  3. Hi all, Has anyone else seen this problem? You can see the stains I am having problems with near the circular panels, and at the leading and trailing edge of the walkway lines. The stains are actually underneath the clear areas of decal. I have changed the brush I apply Micro set and sol with, and opened new bottles of each product, but I'm still getting the staining. The paint underneath is Tamiya grey primer, Tamiya flat black pre-shading, Mr. Hobby H308 (thinned with cellulose thinners and a drop or two of flow improver in the colour cup) then Tamiya X-22 Clear, thinned with cellulos
  4. That is excellent information Omega One. I am building 808 so it's very useful to confirm that the stripes were not carried on the under side. I'll drop you a PM. Thanks again, Gareth
  5. Thanks Armando, nice collection your friend has there! For completeness, overnight I received a PM from Victor Manuel with a colour 3 view that indicates stripes were not on the under side of the wings. This is the only evidence I have for either choice so I'll go with that, rather than my assumption. I only had half an hour modelling time last night, so luckily not enough time to commit paint to the masking I applied! Thanks everyone, Gareth
  6. Hi Jay, The fairing on the front of the fin is pretty straight forward. I just found a piece of plastic card of thickness to match the fin, then used a profile guage to mark the shape. Cut, file to a better shape, glue, fill a panel line and some rivets on the fin, and sand smooth is about all it needs. Cheers, Gareth
  7. Hi both, Thanks for the replies, and links. From what I can tell this is a machine operating in the aggressor role. I'm going to work on the assumption that the red stripes are specific to that role, and identify the aircraft as an aggressor. You would therefore need to see them if you were looking at the underside of the aircraft only, and so they would be present. Thanks again, Gareth
  8. Hi all, I'm doing this scheme on my AFV Club F-5E. Does anyone have any other pics of this aircraft in this scheme? I'm looking for something that might indicate whether it carries the red stripes on the under side of the wings as well. Thanks for any help, Gareth
  9. Thanks for the very generous comments. I'm especially pleased to read the positive remarks about the RBF tags as they reflect what I originally intended to depict, so I must be getting it right! KursadA - I'd be very pleased for you to use the photos. They should be public at my Picasa page. If not drop me a line and I'll send some on. Cheers all, Gareth
  10. Very nice model, with great finish and detailling.

That's a beauty Vitor. I'd never have guessed it was so small until the last image.
  12. All very nice, but I love the Forger. I'm very excited about this release, but waiting to see a few reviews before I buy to avoid a repeat of my disappointment with the HB Tornado.
  13. looks great in orange! It makes it a very striking model.
  14. Just got this one finished (with some very gracious help from EDWMatt). A lovely kit I've added a little basic scratch building to. I detailed the sensor turret, added brake discs and calipers to the main wheels. I also made a new torque link to replace the clunky one-piece moulded affair on the nose leg. I roughed out some chocks for the wheels too. Short build thread here. I made some FOD covers for the intake and exhaust and some protection for the pitot tubes. I also drilled out holes for the pilot's view ports in the nose near the main pitot tube and glazed them with some small discs m
