I like that! Great to see a 'different' subject.

I was told in this thread at Britmodeller that it is possible. That's how I posed mine and no-one objected.

As far as I know there is a gap at the rear of the nose door bay. I haven't found an explanation as to why. I don't want to post other's pics without permission and only have two of my own 'not so clear ones' but you get the idea. Here it's (obviously) closed and you can just see the dark gap. Here it's closing and you can see it won't meet at the back.

Thanks for that detailed reply. That's one approach I had considered, but not persevered at as I found it so hard. If others are doing it, it's a viable method, and I'll have to revisit it. Cheers, Gareth

Thanks for the generous coments everyone. Greg- the air intakes aren't great, but with care they need minimal cleaning up. Royale Resin wheels are superb, I have several sets for other kits laid down. The Two Mikes resin I obtained direct from themselves, but they should be easily found in the UK. Good luck with your build.

Yes it is. I'm asking if anyone knows or has worked out how / where two parts of the cockpit set fit.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm building modern jets, so there's lots of complex curves on the inside. It's a tricky one, and I can see why you don't often see the inside details represented.

Hi all, I've never posted a model at ARC yet, only at Britmodeller and Promodeller. Seeing as I should use the resource of ARC more, here is my latest by way of introduction. This is a crosspost from the two aforementioned forums, so apologies if you've seen it before. Finished at last! I bought this at Hinckley last year, and started it almost immediately, but have only finished it today. It has an Airwaves seat, SAC undercarriage legs, Royale Resin wheels (superb), Hasegawa GBUs, Eduard RBF tags and TwoMikes FOD covers. Ooh, and an Eduard ladder. I've had some issues with the canopy and

Does anybody add them? I'd really like to, as just showing black or grey through from the other side is OK, but doesn't really represent the complexity of the 'furniture' on the inside of the frames. Does anyone have any techniques for constructing frames for the inside of canopies?

Has anyone used the Neomega MB.326 cockpit set? I have no instructions and the manufacturer can't supply me with any. I am not sure of the placement of two parts and wonder if anyone here can help?

Never mind, I found one. -
As subject. I'm in the UK. Thanks, Gareth

Smart. That's the key. Thanks everyone for your help.

Thank you for the effort involved in posting those pics, but I'm more looking for the day to day variety, that might be used on a average training sortie. Sorry, should have been more clear in my first post. Thanks again.

Hi, I'm struggling with arming a Typhoon I'm working on. I want to do it as a Luftwaffe machine, with 2 GBU-10s or 16s on the inner pylons. I'm told this is a realistic, if rare, configuration. The trouble is I am struggling to find pics of the Luftwaffe bombs, and want to make sure I get the right colours and markings. Has anyone got any? I don't mind if it's inert or live. Many thanks!

I took a chance on a very scruffy kit as in the thread title at Cosford today. It looked like everything was in the box, but it turns out the windshield part of the canopy is missing. I can't find an aftermarket one, but I would be very happy if someone could prove me wrong! If not does anyone have a spare knocking about in a kit they maybe have abandoned? Happy to pay for the part, or swap anything I have that might be needed. Thanks for any help.

Hi everyone, Sorry, this is a direct cross post from Britmodeller, just in case someone with knowledge sees it here. Cheers! I'm fitting the Aires FGA 4/6 set to the Trumpeter 1/48 Seahawk kit. I'm struggling with part pp14, the 'box and strip' that fits inside the windshield. I can't get my head around how it might fit going by the instructions alone. Anyone got a reference to show how it goes? Many thanks, Gareth
