O my God !!!!

Promodeller. As far as I know the Academy is smaller than 1/48. Of an amount really recognizeable, once close to a Tamiya or to a Monogram. But wait for a confirmation from other guys. Cheers Paolo

Buying kits from more than 20 years, I have a huge amount of WW2 1/48 kits in the stash. And I still like them all. But the last WW2 models I've built are in 1/32. And I really like their look, once in the showcase. My previous 109s in 1/48 disappears, in proximity of my recent Eduard 109E. So, I'm just a little worried for my 1/48 stack! As today, my preferences for WW2 single engine fighters are for 1/32. To my eyes they are at the "right" size, in that scale. But for others, from Bf-110 or Mosquito to Lancaster or Fortress, preferences are still for 1/48. Cheers Paolo

Aires F-16 Blk52 Exhaust fitment question??????
rotaliscia replied to scotthldr's topic in Jet Modeling
I have both and I measured them with a caliper. All the dimension are absolutely identical. The Kinetic's one has a small dent housing the other one miss. This is the only difference. Cheers Paolo -
I have both the P&W Aires resin exhausts for the Hasegawa and for Kinetic Vipers. Maybe could be interesting to add that all their dimensions are exactly the same. Then, the ones for Hasegawa F-16's you have in the stack, should fit well also on the Kinetic. Should. Cheers Paolo

What a beautiful ANR Messerschmitt, Mike! A really good job. Even better, considering the kit. I'm "charmed" by Maj. Bellagambi' s aircraft, and I'm planning a build as well. In all the profiles I have, the aircraft is represented in 74/75/76 scheme, with a really dark and close mottling on the sides of fuselage. But your interpretation strongly worth consideration. ..and it's a beautiful camouflage! Congratulations! Paolo -
I'm really glad to read about your success, Jake. You deserve it. Your books worths every single penny of the price. Last night I've gone to sleep at 2,30 a.m., (only ten hours ago) because of the Eagle Guide! Amazing. Do others, please, Jake. Paolo

So, welcome back Tornado (es) ! I'm worried about your assistant, Davide... is he well? Cheers Paolo

Thanks for your words, friend! CKsh: no, I'm not using the engine. Mainly because I like really much the 109E clean shape and I think that with all the nose pieces down, the airplane loose almost all of his beauty. Cheers and take care! Paolo

Hi Gentlemen, here I am with my new Messerschmitt 109-E1 A lot of other guys are doing the same, rendering to Eduard all the "glory" their new kit worths, in my opinion. There are some minor issues in the kit, but nothing impossible to fix for a modeler with an average skill. I'm building the kit strictly OOB, but after seeing the in progress works by Frank C, I'm thinking to build another one, adding some of the modifications he did (do a search if you're interestested, a reaaaally great job! ;) ) Criticism and suggestion are strongly welcome! Please, pay no attention to the encour

A really good job for an unusual aircraft. Looks really great! Congratulazioni. Paolo

Another Masterpiece dude! Of your highest standard. I strongly hope to watch the model live shortly, and have way to learn other else. And what's landend on the desk from the shelf now, Davide? Take care! Paolo

How did you obtained such a sharp edges? Paper masks or your usual blu-tac sausages? I'm ever bewitched by Israeli camo and this one looks better than the real ones. A really effective effort Jedi. Paolo

Excellent 109! The same airplane I intend to build in the next future. Painting all the insignas, as you did. Anyway, for other projects, may I ask you if you want sell or swap what remains of the decal sheet? (I suppose is the same -or similar- to the one that Revell Germany sell in Europe) Many thanks and congratulations. Paolo ps: some sources reports the Scheiss's aircraft with the wing entirely in RLM 79, with no green. Still in doubt. Someone can confirm?

What a beautiful job, Vincenzo! You're wasted, for 1/72 scale. Paolo -
Honza, three times bellissimo! (apologize for the Italian, but it renders better, to me, for such an awesone painting!) My sincere gongratulations. Paolo

Hi Gentlemen, first of all, I beg your pardon for posting this request on the wrong forum, but I believe this is the one with the better possibilities to find an help. Is there someone that has the Revell Bf.109G-4 1/32 (kit 04721) decal sheet to sell or swap? Or what remains of the sheet, after having completed the model? In particular I'm looking for the option - Black 1, Oblt. Schiess, VIII./JG 53, Sicily, 1943 but I would buy/swap all the remaining you eventually have. Thanks for reading. Paolo
-
Thanks Frank! I've an Eduard E1 in progress too, and I will use your work as a reference. Cheers Paolo
