  7. 23-11-04 Guys! I sprayed my Airfix Hawk woth Vajello Lt. Grey acrylic paint and then, once dry, I brushed on Johnson wax Klear (Future to you). That was last night. Tonight, I was intending to mask sections so I could spray the upper fuselage and was using the Tamiya masking tape. I had to repositin some of the tape and pulled it (gently) off AND THE PAINT CAME WITH IT!!!! :o What the HECK?? I thought the Future was meant to protect the paint job?? This has happened once before, on an ICM Spitfire I was making. The only thing I think similar to both cases was that I didn't prime the

  18. 28-08-04 Hey roym: I am based in Ireland too. Where are you? If you are near Cork, you could try Marks' Models. If nearer to Dublin, Marks' Models have two shops, one in the city center and one in DunLaoaghaire shopping mall ( upstairs), the one with the seagulls on the outside wall. If nearer to Limerick, find the Gathering (they have a web-site, I think) and they stock Vallejo paints and can order Alclad from Hannants for you if you wish. Liam
  19. Airfix 1/48 British Aerospace Harrier GR3 from Kingkit. now for heritage avaition conversion set to a T.8..... BBWWWWAAAHHHHHHH-HAHAHAHAHAHAH. ahem Liam

  21. 22-05-04 Guys, I am about to take my first dip in using Alclad2. I know this is a laquer based paint. My questions are: 1) What do I use to clean my airbrush out with after using Alclad2? 2)What would I use to seal the decals and weathering after the Alclad2 has cured? I use acrylics as well. I know some stuff out there can interfere with either, so what's good? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Liam]
  22. 14-04-04 Just to add my two cents worth..I am used to buying stuff on-line, but thsi is the first time I have bought from this kind of on-line trade.. I jhave to add 3 names to this list... Kriegsketten ( Lawrence Goh), VMFABlacknights (David Mielke) and most especially JWalker217 (Joedie Walker). All 3 of these gentlemen are good to deal with, very understanding of an ill-timed postal strike and displayed great patience. Kits arrived safe and sound, well packed and the guys are friendly and a pleaseure to deal with. Liam ( yeeah1)
