  6. Hi Guys, I am looking for an M50 ( is that right?) and ammo box/ammo feed (such as might be used by a door gunner on a Huey) and a Gatling gun type weapon in 1/48 for a build I am planing. Anyone know where I might get these maybe as part of a resin detail set? Thanks in advance, Liam Liam
  7. 03 05 10 Hi guys. I am making a 1/48 Fury (Matchbox) and just to dress it up a little, I bought some resin sets from AMS Resin that included what I think are guidance pods for the Bullpup missiles. I am going to use a few from the HobbyBoss kit as there are plenty to spare. I guess I would like to know about how the loadout might be arranged. The guide with the resin set indicates the guidance pod goes inboard under the right wing. So, what do I out under the others? I was think early sidewinders and fuel tanks with a Bullpup but could anyone tell me if this would work? Also, would the
  8. Actually, if someone could go into detail about coverting an E or F into an A model, I would be interested, only I'll be doing it in 1/48. I got some nice decals for a few A model Sabres, so would be interested in knowing what to do. Thanks Liam
  9. 16 04 2010 Guys, needs a littel advise please. I am building the Matchbox 1/48 Fury and will be using the Aeromaster Furies of the Fleet in Color pt2 (48193). I am building VMF-451 machine and it has a blue nose markings with stars on it and has red line of sorts around the edge of the nose intake itself. It's not apparent if this red color extends inside the nose so I was wondering, would hte red extend inside the nose for a bit and then switch to white for the remainder of the inside? Also, could I use a fod-cover from an Academy 1/48 kit on the intake of the Fury? Would it look ok? T

  20. 20 09 09 And although this is an aviaition themed site, I know there are those amongst us who dabble in the four-wheeled plastic. What I am looking for may actually be quite impossible to source, BUT: I need, in 1/25th scale: Porsche 550 Spyder (I want to model James Dean's car).
