  1. Hello fellow modellers, Does anyone know of any new what if (whiffery)group builds, still finding my way on the forum,(read as useless with a pc!) Though the level of build quality is impressive regarless of what your building , any help would be great. Got kits (too many), got time (busted shoulder), got no idea about using the forum......limited life of facebook and ebay!
  2. Brilliant stuff, looks good with an impressive finish, i had thought about a royal navy f-15 with folded wings and stronger undercart flying off the old ark royal in 1977 etc etc the falkland war would have been so different! ........i just got an F-15c on ebay for three quid(english pounds!)...(about five dollars or so?) with no decals and was deciding what to do next...i guess navy f-15 is out of the window........ Keep on building, this one is top ten.
  3. Well, its tea time now, so the days over for the noisey stuff, maybe hercs and chinooks at night over the moors......never knew about this thread though!, saw a twin turbo prop something early this morning, didnt have much chance though i know it was navy! only about a hundred feet above the house!, then around lunch time a tornado came from god knows where to do noisy (read LOUD) circuit around the house and dissapear over bodmin moor, so there was i with daughter in arms in the rain-getting wet watching this awesome sight, then shortly followed by a BAe hawk from RAF valley screamed over and
  4. WOW... fairly new to this place and phinally phound a place where i can phreak out, got loads of phours to build but there gonna have to wait - having op on shoulder in the morning so will be out of action for a few months (thats gonna hurt my modelling more than pain i think!) gonna be busy as a bee when i back though, ive got 5 in 1/144, 6 in 1/72 and 2 in 1/48, love the weasles but my fav is the spey engined FGR2, got the special blue one from hasegawa, want to build it but it will have to wait!, Phantom phorever.tp. :)
  5. BUGGER!! I just finished my 1/144 F-16xls (saudi) with harms, mavericks etc etc, thought i was the only one!, also my Euroweasel is now on hold due to right shoulder op on wednesday , so out of action for 3 months (downer dudes!)...hey ho plenty of time to get some ideas i suppose!, already got a few started like a postal F-16 (guaranteed delivery!) and a red arrow F-16! thats different, also a royal navy viking the list goes on- ive so many kits its madness!! Nice finish on the XL though, much better than mine. TP.
  6. That my friend is indeed a rare find, never seen one before, read about the real thing, you could build it along with a ccv F-16 of an X-29 darpa or even a foreplane equipped F4 or F-15!....or make money on it and sell it!, i'd know what id do!!.
  7. thanks again guys, things on here really make you think, tho must admit got plenty more up my sleeves! (they is big sleeves!) really do like the run up stories on why for whifs, though reece and weasels are what i like best.... Y.G.B.S.M. !., the starweasel one was really good, liked that a lot, superb execution too. But cant spend too much time on here - cos plastic dont create itself, so im off to the bench, toodles!.
  8. Nice kick off, dont like decals in the cockpit but you gotta admit its quicker!. Im wondering if two people on the planet come up with the same idea at once half way round the globe ? My EUROWEASEL is a navalised upgraded eurofighter, done the working folded wings with two pylons a piece, got some serious undercart (could land a jumbo on it!) working on some F-15 C engines but not sure about the sacrifice!(could always get some resin ones i suppose!) with, shrikes, harms, AIM-9XX and advanced standard anti radiation missiles, plus the standand AIM-120ST ("self thinking" missiles, they watch
  9. That is KOOL kool cool cool , never would have thought of a swinger stealth fighter, nice work.
  10. Hello to all you Whiffers out there, new to site, first post , be gentle!, Ive got stacks of kits to build(1/144, 1/72 & 1/48) and been doing what ifs for a few years now ever since i saw a navalised A-10 with folded wings, still have a few of the old ones on the shelf (they usually get given to my younger family members) On the shelf are a RAF 92 squadron MDD F101D voodoo (since the lightning was cancelled by the mod in 1961 along with the tsr2 programme!!.) and the russain kamov hormone with a four bladed rotor and NOTAR (as tail rotors are so yesterday!) in belgian AF tiger meet co
