  1. I find Revell's acrylic aluminium goes on very nicely if thinned a tiny bit with water (like one drop in amount sufficient to cover a 72nd spitfire).
  2. Now thats one way of avoiding all those 'orrible little stencils! Nice job tho.
  3. B) Hehehe oops, I was having connection issues and must have been button bashing in frustration! My bad, but it was worth saying 3 times. It does look very nice mate.
  4. Dam thats awesome, how did you get on with the sidepod decals?

  7. Looking good so far, it is a lovely model once built but the large side pod decals are really tricky to get right and mine tore a number of times.
  8. Very wise! I just cut a slot out the bottom of mine for mounting on a stand. The gear bay doors were a pain to fit tho.
  9. Are you doing a build article? I am about to embark on the VFA-102 History boxing and would love to see someone else's build.
  10. My wee man is 2 months at the weekend so i do most of my modelling between feeds when the wife is asleep. However 2am is no time be wrestling with small parts tanked on coffee!
  11. Also, how would you mask the wheel wells for spraying? I am going for a humbrol metalcote finish and not sure the best method, wet tissue perhaps?
