  1. I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for either FTD032-003 or FTD032-004 from Fightertown Decals. Thank you in advance!
  2. That's not a bad idea. Only problem is the Astra decals for the 1/48 kits are all sold out. But definitely build something else with the B/D kit.
  3. This is what I'm starting to think as well. If I recall the kits I gave my brother, there was an ASAT F-15C the stash. I'll see if he has that one. Just a matter of getting CFTs now.
  4. Good question. I'll have to pull them out and look them over.
  5. Thank you. This helps quite a bit.
  6. That's good to know. So what base kit are you thinking of using? I would think another Hasegawa C would work, but would an Academy or GWH work too?
  7. Jonathan, I'm using the DACO decals, so I believe it's going to be the Compass Ghost scheme.
  8. Hey folks, I'm getting back into the hobby and I'm looking at building a F-15 outta Iceland in 1/48 scale. I have the decals for them, just not sure which kits would build out best given the CFTs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I've been doing research on this for the last two days, and it's a bit of a mess with the Tamiya kits. I went threw my stash and found my old Revell F-15C kit with the ASAT, and it may work better for this build than the Tamiya. Slap the CFTs from the Revell D/E kit on it, modify the hard points for the Sparrows, and it just my work. Thoughts on this idea?
  10. I'm looking to build one of the 57th FIS F-15s in 1/32. My biggest problem seems to be the CFTs. Is it possible to use the CFTs in the Revell D/E kit on the Tamiya F-15C kit? I looked into swapping the front end of a Tamiya C onto an E body, but then I'd be into so many corrections, I'd be over my head skill wise. Any suggests for a semi easy build would be greatly appreciated.
  11. I've been looking at buying this kit for some time now, but have a few questions. Are there different tail parts for the A/C models? How about the upper fuselage? Two different parts or one with the option to make a B/D? I guess what I'm asking for is, does anyone have a parts break down/list of this kit?
  12. Thanks guys! I didn't realize they were two different companies. Just got a set ordered!
  13. I know this is a long shot, but I was hoping someone would have still have a sheet of these left. 32-MAW005 Sierra Hotel Alphas - Red Devils 300 F/A-18A+ VMFA-232 - Shamrock 01 F/A-18A VMFA-333 I'm open to reasonable offers. Thanks.
  14. Thanks for all the comments. I'll give it a shot. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
  15. In other words, if I didn't purchase the kit directly from them, I'm outta luck. Nice. Oh well. Looks like I'll be going the after market route for the parts I need.
  16. Hello, Has anyone ever ordered parts from Academy for their models? If so, how did you go about doing it? Thanks.
  17. Sir,

I was put in touch with you, on the chance that you might have a copy of this: Zotz Decals 1/32 F-16 Vivacious Vipers#2 Decal. If you do, would you be willing to part with it, or, at the minimum, the Jordanian markings?

    Thank you for your time,

    Chris

  18. I'm aware of Zotz sheet. Problem is, it's OOP and I can't seem to find anyone with it to save my life. I'll get in contact with the above member to see if he might have a copy. Thanks for the help everyone!
  19. I have no idea where to put his topic, so general it is. I've tried without success to find a set of 1/32 scale decals to make a Jordanian F-16, so now I'm looking for someone who may be willing to make a custom set. I realize it's not really cost effective to make a "1 of" but I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount for a nice set. Mods, if this needs to be moved to another forum, I understand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  20. I'm looking for the Jordanian portion of this set, if not the entire set.
  21. Looks like they made a small mistake...in that it wasn't a Marine Corps unit at all. VT(N)-90
  22. I went to see it, having never read any of the comic books. It was a good movie to see, but eh, the story telling seemed to jump around. Other wise worth my time and money. :) As for 3D, I'm very lucky the theater I goto plays all three types. 2D, 3D, and IMAX. IMAX is awesome, but they only show it for a week, so if you miss that opening week, you're done son, and have to catch it in 2D or 3D.
