Ha no worries mate, looking back on it now I'm annoyed at myself the video stops for my clunky ad too! Pretty sure I only stopped at the port side because the pilot had a big group of people there asking him questions. Thanks for sharing the bear pics, really enjoying your build. I built this kit a few years back and the engine exhaust nozzles were the most incredulous moment for me, :) -

Also, from using the simulator, I believe the glass sensors look for detecting 'missile launches' like SAMs. I think they can see rocket motors. I'm guessing they are like little IR seeker type sensors. I only suspect this because in DCS A-10C you get missile launch warnings even if your wingman fires a Maverick. -

Hey Chuck! That's my video, sorry it doesn't have a good view of the port side but I actually stopped filming right before the 'ad' for the A-10 flight simulation. Like you I have no affiliation with the company and receive no benefit at all for including it in there. I simply love the A-10 and would like to let people know how good that sim is. -
Incredible, great looking jet!

It looks amazing and I'll bet it's the most eye-catching model in your collection for friends etc. Great job, I seriously want one.

Good luck mate, looking forward to watching your progress. Israeli F-16s look super cool.
-
Looks fantastic. Makes me want to build one too.

So cool already. I wish someone would release a new tool A-10C in 1/72. I built this trumpeter kit a few years ago, it still looks awesome. Huge! Can't wait to see yours Chuck. -
Oh no, very sad news. RIP Mareku, your family and you are in my prayers.

Chuck very happy to see this kit be built by you. Looking forward to watching the progress. I filmed this A-10 walk around at Miramar last October, might help. -
Now that's courage! The rewards look to be worth it though, I've never seen such a realistic looking finish on a metallic aircraft. Fantastic.
-
Hope you get well soon Mareku.

Fantastic mate. I'm travelling to California from Australia in October and was hoping to see endeavour at the Science Center but I read it won't go on display until October 30. I fly out on the 23rd :(.

I really want to build a little bird after seeing this thread. Please update us soon. Looking awesome.

This build is helping me be more patient with my own models, awesome stuff.

Looks great man. I think those 2003 deployment VF-2 birds are my favourite Tomcat markings. Looking forward to seeing yours!

VFA-14 Tophatters 90th Anniversary -COMPLETED! PICS w/PHOTOS

Hi guys, In the time since my last post I have finished this model. There was lots of little jobs including mounting it on some perspex that took me a while to figure out but I thought I'd post some photos I took yesterday morning down by the seaside of the finished model. I used photoshop on this one to remove the support... It is currently sitting on a table at the Australian Model Expo 2011, next to some truly awesome 1/48th aircraft (i.e I'm not expecting a trophy out of this ;) ) Anyway, it was great fun to build and the finished model is fun to look at. Thanks to everyone -
Hey mate, looks great! Here's a short video I made of some F-22 close ups. I want to build one of these one day, they look like spaceships in the sunlight. http://youtu.be/MCh23Qws-RM
