  1. Take a look on the pic with the FLIR ...You can see the left hand paratroop door and the 2 launch tubes for the Griffen missle system.
  2. This baby is looking good. A few more updates and she will be ready to fly. The balack areas under the wing aren't straight as seen below.....This also shows how dirty she gets on a regular basis. There is another missle system besides the tomahawks. It carries the griffen missle which is launched from the left paratroop door. There are only to small tubes that go threw the door I hope this info helps sir.
  3. Great looking J....MY baby I delivered 46 of them to the Marines when they where brand new and had that new airplane smell. . By the Way Dave Roof above has a total sheet for the KC-130 J.
  4. I am returning to the hobby after about 10 yrs and now need to build 1/32 as my vision isn't what it was, has been fun learning again this yr. I have not printed decals in many many years but want to print 1/32 decals . Is a Inkjet, laser or something different better for printing? What is the best paper to use Now? also with this paper what is now used to spray /set the new decals. I Appreciate all the Help, Cheers, Jason

  7. On the 531 jets where did the white start in the intakes? Did it run all the way to the lip or did it end at the variable ramp seam? Thanks for all your help. I am trying to make the paint job as accurate as possible. Any pics you are willing to share I will use as reference. Cheers & Semper Fi Jason
  8. Thanks for the assistance Phantom & Grey Ghost. Cheers & Semper Fi Jason
  9. Corragard?????Did all phantoms have it on the leading edge of the intake? Looking at pics of VMFA-531 1979 'N' Phantoms I cannot tell if they are aircraft grey or corragard. Where does the white in the intake start on Marine Phantoms? Any assistance in this matters would be appreciated. Cheers & Semper Fi
  10. Anyone have pics of the MERs used on "B & N" Phantoms? Does it have a part number/nomenclature that can be searched? I have found pics but they are either obscuring the mounting of the weapons or are to far away to make out details. I am wanting to add a lil detail to the MER & make sure I mount the bombs correctly. I am building VMFA-531 Phantom from 1979. Cheers & Semper Fi
