    Thanks for support.

Air Raid Signals and roadblocks do not fit in the mind - the 21st century ....
Normal people fight diseases, make scientific discoveries and get ready to fly to Mars - But clinical idiots attack the neighboring country without any idea, hiding behind a distorted story invented by their epileptic pseudo-emperor ....
Take care of the peace and yourself.

1/32 Sukhoi Su-2 with M-82 engine  – Limited edition resin kit

The history of this aircraft began in 1936 with the creation of the Ivanov multi-purpose aircraft project.
According to the results of the project competition, the aircraft, which was designed by a group led by Pavel Sukhoi,
was selected as the winner and was recommended for construction.

In the process of working on this project, he already had the name SZ - (Stalin's task) -(abbreviation Сталинское задание  (Russian)).
In August 1937, this aircraft made its first flight.
In the process of improvements and testing,
after installing a more powerful M-88B engine,
the aircraft was adopted by the Red Army Air Force under the name BB-1 - Middle Bomber ( abbreviation "Ближний Бомбардировщик" (Russian).

In 1940, its serial production was started and it received its name Sukhoi Su-2.

On June 22, 1941, Su-2 aircraft entered the battle.

Very often used as an attack aircraft and without fighter cover, the Su-2 suffered heavy losses.
    Due to their "survivability",
the Su-2 often returned to bases very damaged, but after repairs they returned to battle.

In part, such "survivability" was provided by the completely duplicated control of the navigator.
This gave a chance to return to base if the pilot was injured.

    Su-2 production continued until 1942.
A total of 893 aircraft were produced. And some of them served until 1944.

For the design bureau led by Pavel Sukhoi, the Su2 was the beginning of a long journey in creating beautiful and formidable aircraft.

Our model at 1:32 represents a late version of the Su-2 with the M-82 engine.

Another interesting point, the combat units received the aircraft disassembled packed in container boxes.
Fully provided with everything necessary, including a ski chassis,
which was installed by technical personnel right at the airfield.

The ski chassis option is also included in our set.
