I did a template to make the eagle and airbrush with testor's gold paint.Then I painted the countour with enamel paint pencil/and thin brush.The decals for this squadron does'nt exist in 1:48.I use the 1:144 Starfighters decals and blew them up to make the template.The markings on the tail are from the kit and some left overs and airbrushed the black and gold.

The Canadian Snowbirds are for me : The proof of the essence of flying.. I mean by this that those guys fly an aircraft design for training without the power of the hornet with such class that it can just hide a lot of talent,skills and knowledge as Canadian Pilots were always known for;whatever the field of interest : Bush, Great North, AirForce,WW2 allied; (No offence here to others,we all have our heroes ) The Canadian history is that we never had the Defense budget as other countries for the "machines" but we certaintly have an history of great "airmans".
