unusual location for the main rotor blades on the sprue, I think I prefer them how most manufacturers mould them. You are right.. nice to see a different subject.

Nice.. As per the interior detailing threads, you could use that sheeting to make some nice belts too?

Hey, With the Pentel pen, it reminded me of the Luftwaffe squiggle pattern.. Have you tried 'magic marker'? This guy got a good result on his Dauphin. http://www.gengriz.co.uk/2009/May09.htm *he's built a large number of helos/models.. not sure if he's a member here.

Thanks Zotted.. I didn't realise that LifeColor paints went beyond the basic and mimetic range and were available separately from the colour sets. cheers, Greg
