  2. unusual location for the main rotor blades on the sprue, I think I prefer them how most manufacturers mould them. You are right.. nice to see a different subject.
  3. btw.. there are currently 3* Australian Black Hawk decal sheets available. *counting the ARDU (Airforce Research) sheet
  4. Nice.. As per the interior detailing threads, you could use that sheeting to make some nice belts too?
  5. Hey, With the Pentel pen, it reminded me of the Luftwaffe squiggle pattern.. I know it's not the same, but might help. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=51508 If you want a bright coloured Huey, and it fits well with the rescue/hoist interior, have you seen the Taiwanese ones? http://www.airliners.net/photo/Taiwan---Na...uois/1611184/L/ and decals already done! http://www.fireballmodels.info/fm_D06.htm
  6. Thanks for the link.. unrelated but I see a new tooling Halifax.. nice! :(
  7. Have you tried 'magic marker'? This guy got a good result on his Dauphin. http://www.gengriz.co.uk/2009/May09.htm *he's built a large number of helos/models.. not sure if he's a member here.
  8. I'm interested.. but it seems a long way off, I'll wait until it's on the shelves
  9. Thanks Zotted.. I didn't realise that LifeColor paints went beyond the basic and mimetic range and were available separately from the colour sets. cheers, Greg
