  1. When I used them I cut the model using silhouette-cut vinyl masks to get it right but it was still pretty painful. If I were to do it again I would just sand the bottom of the parts as much as I dare and glue them on the plastic part directly. Arnaud
  2. I'm having a Pod day at BAM, 20% off all our pods using coupon code BAMPODS until July 12th 🙂 https://bam-models.com/product-tag/pod Arnaud
  3. Very interesting, thanks for sharing. I've never seen such variability between two injection molding kits, presumably with the same molds (but then maybe not!)
  4. Enjoy your well-deserved break Kursad! Arnaud
  5. Very strange indeed. The first picture I shared shows the top and bottom parts. The only thing I remember to have removed on the top part is the locating pins: they are clearly in the way and if you did not remove them that's the solution.
  6. That's annoying, here are pictures of mine, maybe it helps see where I cleaned up the plastic parts to obtain a good fit: Dry fit with no tape or anything:
  7. Great job! It is definitely safer to cut the plastic and fit the bay as soon as possible to protect the long edges 🙂 I'm surprised the bay is too wide, if you remove the kit pins it should fit without problem (it did on mine and I tested numerous prints). Arnaud
  8. No idea what the USPS rules are - in France if it's less than 3cm thick (about 1in) it goes as letter/mail, no problem.
  9. NASA is a public institution. Boeing most likely acquired all rights on the McDonnell-Douglas logo along with the company.
  10. Not at this time as the Academy kit is pretty hard to find 😕 I might do it if I can get my hands on one though 😄
  11. Sprue Brothers seem to have it in stock, if that helps 😉 https://spruebrothers.com/hbs80349-1-48-hobby-boss-f-111c-australian-pig-aardvark/?utm_source=scalemates&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=marketplace
  12. Thanks. I was asking if you had non-public references, I already explored public sources quite a lot to develop the intakes 😉
  13. Thanks for the offer. I'm not sure if I want to go there as it would probably be a huge investment (pipes and cables are a pain in the neck to replicate in 3D) but let's have a look! Would you please share your references on a shared folder? Thanks, Arnaud
  14. The TPII intakes are a WIP, coming soon 🙂 What do you mean? The intakes as designed fit with no kit surgery required 😉
  15. I've been busy ever since I received the Hobby Boss F-111C kit last month, and I'm now very excited to release the first two sets for it! Triple Plow I seamless intakes for the F-111A, EF-111A, F-111C and RF-111C (plus one FB-111A!): RF-111C recce pack (pre-cut clear windows will be included of course): Here is the link for the Ardvaark fans https://bam-models.com/product-category/f-111/ Thanks for looking, Arnaud
  16. Beautiful work, now I have one more project I want to do thank you 😅😱 Arnaud
  17. I quite agree with Jeffrey: if existing resin parts are not to today's standards it makes sense to do better, but in this case I don't see the value-add and would rather spend time developing new, exciting subjects 😉
  18. And the winner is, by quite a wide margin, the Tomcat 21! I will work on it as my main project for the coming weeks, expect a release by end of June The other ideas did not fall on a deaf man's ear, expect to see a few of them pop up in the BAM release stream soon too
  19. Either they're getting greedy or they're hit by the sanctions on Russia, or a mix of both!
  20. Does Eduard not already make these? I'd say 2-3 months, I put them in the development pipeline which was already quite busy 😉
  21. I agree with Bill on this one. Is it overdone? Yes. Does it help get a final look close to the original more easily than if it were smooth? Definitely!
  22. Totally agree with your analysis Bill, it's a very fun kit to build. Yes it has some shortcomings, which either don't bother me or are pretty easy to fix with affordable aftermarket. Arnaud
