I thought it was just me. It happens to me as well. I very rarely use enamel paint anymore because of that.

I agree with Vince. Try going into safe mode when you turn your computer on. Do a proper shutdown from safe mode and try booting into windows after that. Sometimes the problem will be repaired by doing this.

Sorry to hear about your disaster. I have had a similar situation recently when our son decided to disconnect the TV in the living room and knocked over my display cabinet. Everything inside was destroyed including a car model that I had just won a first place with. I was beyond angry and felt the same way about putting all of the models back together. I simply ended up putting them in a box and stored it away for now. Maybe one day I'll have the desire to rebuild them.

These are my two best friends. They are my extended family and I treat them as such. Several years ago I lost my dog at the young age of 13. They don't live long enough. When she passed away it felt like someone removed my heart.

I was a member for a couple of years but had trouble getting out to meetings. I think IPMS still has a purpose to bring people together who share this interest and would rejoin if my schedule permitted so.

Agreed! I have seen kits posted on ebay at ridiculous prices. I guess they figure someone might bite.

My prayers are with the families impacted by this senseless act. In Canada we have stricter gun laws. It doesn't seem to help as there have been several incidents similar to last nights shootings. If a criminal is intent on getting a gun to commit a crime they will regardless of the laws around gun control.

I have to agree. Air Canada did the same thing and repainted their fleet a baby blue color when they were in financial dispair. I can't understand how spending millions to repaint will keep an airline from bakruptcy. I think airlines should focus on customer service first.

It really is a shame to hear Slixx is closing it's door after all of these years. Their decals are second to none and gives us car modellers a huge variety of builds.

Hey guys, I bet you thought I had dropped off the earth. Well not really. Just got tied up in a couple of group builds on another site. I have been working on the JJ Van and trailer here and there and I am starting to see a little progress. The van has been built box stock with the exception of the wheels and tires. I put M&H slicks on the rear with centerline rims and kept the kit tires on the front but with centerline rims. The trailer has been painted Tamiya Mica Blue as well the van and race car.

I'll add my prayers as well to Lena. I cannot understand how bad health can be a childs problem. It just isn't right!

Revell of Germany 1/72 Space Shuttle. I was in the hobby shop yesterday and they had it for $30 because the box is slightly damaged.

I know I am late to finish this GB but I will get her done. I plan on finishing up the mustang this week. The last couple of weeks have been busy with travelling for the holidays etc. Rob
