Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Granddad's is now closed. (BUMMER!) The owner of the building wanted to increase the rent and the owners of Granddad's just could not meet the price. Rumor is that they will be reopening a store in West Virginia but that's a bit far off the beaten path for me to buy plastic.

Well next time I get back to visit my folks I'll have to include stops at some of the shops mentioned. Thanks guys and happy modeling.

I think their store in St Mary's County is still open but that is a bit of a long distance road trip and I don't get down that way very often. It's too bad that Doug's closed. I liked going there to get paint for my projects. Now I have to go online or travel a bit to find a place that sells more than just the plastic. I need paint, and resin parts, aftermarket and what not but it is getting dang difficult to find any place on this side of the Potomac.
