Yep, I painted the stripes. I had a little trouble with the paint bleeding under the tape but after fixing that it came out ok.

I saw this aircraft fly at Biggin Hill back in '93 or '94. It was the first time I'd seen the Slovak display team and they put on a great show. This model is a Bilek (Italeri) Mig-29 1:72 with a Aires cockpit, Aires nose and Eduard PE kit. The paint job was a real test as I hadn't done anything like this before but I think it came out ok. I hope you like it

I have the pre painted cockpit set from Eduard for the Su-27 but i'm having a few problems finding the correct colour to match it and I was hoping you could point me in the right direction? It's a light blue'ish / grey colour. I don't mind the make of the paint. Thanks

The yellow was the worse colour i've had to spray so far. It took quite a few coats to get a half decent finish
