  1. Loved this aircraft from the movie "Towards the Unknown" with William Holden and Lloyd Nolan. It was billed as the Gilbert XF-120 and is awesome to see...Very nice rendering....Pete
  2. I use Photoshop CS to make my profiles....a quick video to show layering....Pete Sorry for the poor quality....
  3. Thanks for the pics. The one I found was a small picture that had been taken from quite a distance and with that I made the AC profile. There was also a bigger picture of the "nose art" when the aircraft was lying in a state of disrepair and some one had shot three holes through "Howdy Doody's Face. Again, thanks for the story and the pics...Pete http://www.pictorialhistoriespublishing.com/images/Mountaineer-Sabers.jpg
  4. Thanks Lieuwe, I REALLY appreciate the critique. Will experiment to see what I can do to better to define those area's...Again, Thanks, Pete
  5. I like Sabres...what can I say. Did this for a friend. It is completely fictitious...Pete
  6. Your work is very good considering what you have to work with. I use Photoshop and I used it for doing skins for a flight simulator (Strike Fighters). It was very difficult to master but after 4 years, it is pretty simple now. Good luck with your future profiles and looking forward to seeing what else you imagination can whip up. Pete
  7. Thanks Neil, Clave's work is top notch I can see perfection in his that at times mine lacks. But thank you anyway, Pete

  9. F-86H-1-NH 52-2044 from the 167th F.I.S. (Green Flight) of the West Virginia ANG based at Martinsburg, 1958. The aircraft is one of the only "H" model Sabres with illustrated nose art, in this case, "Howdy Doody" and was flown by 1Lt Al R. Ogden.
  10. As my granddaughter would say "OMG!!!!" Very nicely done. Everything about it looks outstanding!

  13. Thanks guys....Trying to find F-86H pics was VERY difficult. Trying to find them in color was almost impossible. But, After 4 months, I finally have a pretty good representation of the "Sabre Hog"....Pete
