  1. dont forget the airfix kit, tanker or airliner version if you can find one, is a standard VC10, not a Super VC10. For a Super VC10 you need the welsh kit

  3. might be worth pointing out that operators of the -420 werent many but include BOAC and BA (obviously), Lufthansa, Varig and Air India.
  4. very neatly done. btw...the real 707 used in the film "airport" was leased by Universal Studios from it's first operator, Flying Tigers...who then sold it to - Aer Lingus. So that aircraft appeared both in this scheme and the later green top scheme. The plane was leased by EI to, amongst others, British Caledonian.
  5. as Jennings rightly says .... Of the two kits (airfix v minicraft), personally I prefer the airfix kit, but thats just my view.
  6. nobody answered this? yes it's possible... you didnt say if you want a 707-320 or a 707-320B or C there is a huge difference between the two.... my airfix -420 converted to a -320C ; http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33891 I had not got round to changing the wing tips when the pics were taken and my conversion might not suit the perfectionists but it's close enough for me when I built it. and the earlier version of the 707-320 ; http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34021 its the 3rd picture all you really need to do is change the look of the engi
  7. Hi, having just joined this board, I hate to shove my nose in too quick, but it's not correct to say the BAC111 has 2 wire aerials... some do, some dont, some had none at all. It depends on the operator, and the version of 111. you need to check any and all photo references you can, airliner.net is a good place to start
