  1. There ares some pictures on their Facebook page... Not obvious if they are perfectly in line or not, but it looks close. Guess you can trim the kit nacelles to ensure they are... Good to know you can make an accurate CC-130H with these...
  2. http://www.wolfpack-d.com/catalog/htm/wp72064.html Wonder if the nacelles are the correct length... a bit on the expensive side though... US$69.98 at Lucky... http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=WP-72064
  3. You should consider talking with Alain Gadbois of Fusion Models in Montreal, he had a kiosk near yourself at the Montreal Model Meet two years ago. http://www.dp9.com/fusion/welcome.htm He goes to the Nats every year when on the East Coast, was there this year. Are you going to be at this year's Montreal Model Meet in October ? http://www.apocalypsemodels.ca/MIMM2014_Home.htm
  4. All right, they windmill, that explains the different positions. I found one reference that says they were removed for the last few dozens Mk5Ds, but nothing so far about having them removed from the Mk4Bs...
  5. I'm gathering info to make a 1-72 Canuck with Dave's beautiful Canuck Decals. One thing that still bugs me are the two anti ice vanes on the bullet fairing in the engine inlet of the Orenda 9. First of all, I have seen pictures of Mk IVs without these vanes, see below, were they removable, ie when when flying in summer in Europe or Deci ?? 2) Were they adjustable circumferentially, as they appear never to be in the same location ? Vanes here: No vanes here: No vanes here:
  6. Since we are not building the full size aircraft but a scale replica, my vote is for scale colours, always...
  7. Are there any stencils with those decals ?
  8. You can check my build thread here: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=249172&st=0&p=2368500&hl=cc-130&fromsearch=1entry2368500 The easiest (less mods needed) to build are CC-130E and the early models (without APUs) CC-130H. I found the Italeri kit good enough for me...
  9. Personnaly, I kind of like the Spanish School, it looks great for moderate to heavily weathered aircrafts, but for a Demo bird... not so much... for me anyway, your mileage may vary... http://www.network54.com/Forum/615009/message/1404085516/F-18+Cien+a%F1os+de+aviaci%F3n+en+Canad%E1.
  10. SBARC, on 30 June 2014 - 05:52 AM, said: I've talked to the owner of Kinetic Models and his goal is to make his kits simplier Well then, he sure never tried to build his CF-5A... :woot.gif:/>/>
  11. Beautiful scheme and nicely done. I love Mirages...
  12. Use little dabs, or outright lines of Future or gloss coat (on flat paint) flat coat on gloss paint. Completely disappears after your favorite clear coat, no annoying show thru lines...
  13. I think Colin Kunkel has some good line of communications with him. Same experience here with Dave, spotty comms at best, I only order thru Ebay now, better, faster service and more protection for me if deal goes sour. You would think that with the new quality competition (Canuck) that it would give a kick in the *** to Leading Edge...
  14. These kits are NOT worth your precious time, you could turn out two Kinetics in the time it takes to build a Crappy Airframes kit ! :blink:/>
  15. Lache pas mon ALF ! Keep cranking out those models ! Where did you get the DACO update set ? I just finished packing up all my models (45 of them) cause I am moving next week (2 km away). There is a model show in Montreal in late May, I am thinking of keeping them packed, and bringing them there ! You think they would give me a group discount on the entrance fee ?
  16. I go to contests, went to a few US Nationals, mostly to see models "live" and meet other modellers. 90% of the modellers I know would not be caught dead at contests however... But they do come to "shows" mostly at toy or hobby fairs which does a lot more to recruit new modellers if you ask me... I do not understand why there isn't a "show only" category at IPMS model shows... or something like a small card that says you do not want your model judged... I think that would bring in a lot more models...
  17. Why would you want to change... What's wrong with Paypal... The Speedhunter Graphics decals use SSL Volution with Paypal payment and works great, Furball also uses it, Twobobs Cart system works great to... Lots of solutions here looks like...
  18. Great looking zipper, I just love the NASA scheme, would look great besides a Chris Hadfield NASA T-38 !
  19. You are a very patient man ! Looks very nice and BIG !
  20. Great job, can never have too many CAF Agressors ! :D
  21. OK you can delete this one, and a later one I just did again... sorry about that ! I managed to finally post in the finished builds thread....
  22. Mods, please delete this thread ! Meant to be posted in Finished builds !
