Nice paint job on the 777! Is that the minicraft kit? That sign the two guys are standing by says, "Welcome to the land of the giants"?

Boeing 777-300ER conversion ( Air Canada Vancouver 2010 colours)
rocketman5809 replied to RICH W's topic in Airliner Modeling
Hi Richard, Oh boy, the 777-300ER is one of my favorites and I like your conversion idea with the pipe, and love those raked winglets! What livery are you planning to use? Look forward to seeing more! Regards, Roger -
Very good Frank, I see this one is on the same piece of wood as the last 747! You sure didn't waste any time jumping on it, can't wait to see how you do the beach! I'm still waiting on my mirror package to come in the mail and have picked out an old Aurora kit from the stash to use for my first. Regards, Roger

Thanks for the heads up Ray, I need to stock up on the 737's! Does the cataloug list the prices of these kits? Regards, Roger -
To let you know oldhooker, I just ordered one of the 24x24 mirrors which will be enough for the 3 possibly 4 models I have in mind. Nice website btw! Regards Roger

Frank, Those last pictures convinced me I need to build onbe of these dioramas! I have a testors 1/72 scale C-130 that I'd like to put in-flight with the ramp down and a couple of troops in the air behind it starting a HALO jump. My imagination is going a mile a minute thinking about it! Where do you get the mirror from, are they glass? I have called Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Lowes Hardware and ask for first-surface mirrors, but they don't carry them, please help? Regards, Roger

Lacee That sure is a lot of cutting/grafting, but it is coming out so nice! Way beyond my skills but it is so interesting seeing to see how you accomplish it! Regards, Roger
-
Frank I've never seen anything like this before and it doesn't really make sense until you see the result! Just looking at it you can't tell the mirror is even there, I am speechless, and superb modeling on the 747! Regards Roger
