  7. I know very well what the image represents. I was just checking to see if you did.
  8. I agree totally with smithery. BTW, what does the image in your signature mean? Is that something that you are a part of or is it just a pretty picture you wanted to display?
  9. Good plan, Darren! (It's always good to grant time extensions to the craftsman!) Seriously, you're efforts are greatly appreciated!
  10. Me too! I just got 2 of the new ones from Sprue Bros betting that Darren will be able to get his new nose completed.. well, not HIS nose.. the Steel Beach resin nose. I've got 3 of the initial release.. two from HL during some 50% off sales way back, and another off ebay that was really cheap. Heck, I figure if I average my inventory costs on these 5 kits, I own them for an average cost of around $18 each. (only a modeler can do that kind of justification and feel good about it!!) jack
  11. Speaking of the front end... Hey, Darren... how are the Steel Beach things coming along for this bird? Still end of Feb? Jack

  18. I think that's actually Plutonium-Nyborg. The only reason I mention it is that there seems to be a LOT of it near your home-to-be, and if you're going to deal, you don't need to be spotted as a rookie. Good Luck! Hope you get settled soon! jack
  19. In a booth of that size, as you move your airbrush around inside, paint will get directed or pushed to the left and right side. The further away from center it goes from the cone of the fan's main draw, the less efficient the fan will be, relative to the center. Paint/fumes then rise and are pushed to the upper left and right corners of the box, where the fan has the hardest time drawing from. If you have good airflow, the fan will eventually pull some of it out, but not before a noticable amount drifts out into the room. Relative to the rest of the space in your booth, the extreme sides are p
