I'm trying to switch from oil based to acrylic paints. I paint with a Paashe H brush with a #3 tip, a CH compressor and regulator, and MM paints thinned with isopropyl alcohol. I have been getting very inconsistant results so far. It seems that once a good air pressure, tip adjustment, air volume combination is found the tip clogs after only a little painting. I'll backflush the airbrush against my hand and can usually start painting again. Sometimes backflushig will not help at all. After a painting session it seems like my hand has more paint on it than the model.
