  1. My notes on the kit so far: I'm planning to build this kit with everything all out and open. Starting from the nose back here are some of my plans. Cockpit: the seat needs a 5-point style harness and some kind of texturing for the seat cushions and a horizontal bright green oxy bottle behind the headrest Landing gear and weapons bays: I will throw in lots of fiddly bits from the spares and thin wire to busy up the open bays, haven't decided what armament yet. Eduard F-22 main wheels are dead ringers for the f-35 wheels so I will use those if I don't have something close from my spares box
  2. There needs to be a proliferation of 1/72 1/48 and 1/32 F-22's and F-35's, they're America's next and future jets for awhile.
  3. Oops, kind of gave the impression that I'm a newbie and/or have not done this before. Definitely not a newbie, this is just probably the dumbest and most unique way I've ever drawn blood from building.
  4. Stretching sprue. Anybody see what's wrong, or rather what's going to go wrong, in this picture?
  5. Yeah, I'm probably wrong. Still looking thru my pics to make sure. I wish the airshow was sooner so I could go see for myself!
  6. WTB or trade with anyone that's cutting up their sheet. Don't need the full sheet, just either one of the Creech commander's markings off the Caracal 1/48 sheet. I was thinking around $6? Or trade for 1 set of markings in 1/48 or 1/32 of my modern jet stuff.

  8. but you need to paint the lights on it! It really is pretty, tho!
  9. If you have access to a photocopier and some blank decal paper you can make your own, I do it all the time. Print the NO STEPS you need on a piece of paper thru the copier then tape a small square of blank decal paper over what you just printed. Run the paper thru again and you will print the NO STEPS onto the blank decal paper.
  10. If you have a partially used sheet of any cutting edge 1/48 sr-71 i'm looking to buy or trade for just one aircraft worth of decals. Anything with good looking tail art and all red ejection warning stuff up front will do, let me know what you have avail. I will buy at reasonable price or trade. I have lots of 1/48 and 1/32 decals and same for spare parts on some stuff. Perhaps we can trade if you need multiple lost a/c parts or parts of missing decal sheets, etc. Decals are mostly Israeli af, newer navy and air force stuff.

  12. We better not put the pressure on him rushing is never good for quality wise Yes, but at this point if Chris sent me a bad copy of a copy of a copy of what he has right now and even jumped up and down on the pieces a few times, I would still open the box and roll around naked in the shattered pieces.
  13. OK, It's been 4 yrs. since I asked and 6 mos. since the last time you updated us so.... I won't ask when it'll be done, but how about this? How much is it done percentagewise? 50% 75%?
