Mr. Mark Softer & Mark Setter question(s)

Well, I guess it doesn't matter about the "Neo" products, since they apparently are NOT sold in the USA. It's probably some EPA regulation thing?!? -
Mr. Mark Softer & Mark Setter question(s)
ReccePhreak replied to ReccePhreak's topic in Tools 'n' Tips
It doesn't say Neo on the bottle. I ordered both from Scale Hobbyist online. I just did a search online for Mr. Mark Setter and the photos of both the Mark Setter AND Mark Setter Neo bottles appeared to show the same white solution. I just thought it was strange, since there was an obvious "powder" on the bottom of the bottle before I shook it up. I just don't want a dried powder to show up on top of my decals. Larry -
I just ordered one bottle each of Mr. Mark Softer & Mr. Mark Setter to use on my thicker SiamScale decals. I know from reading the posts that Mr. Mark Softer is the stronger one. My question is this: my Mr. Mark Softer is clear, while the Mr. Mark Setter looks like it has white powder in it. When I shake it up, the white stuff (mostly) goes into solution. Is that normal, or did I get an old bottle? Larry

I now get the same Internal Server Error on my BRAND NEW FS posting!!!!!!!! I tried to delete 2 items that were sold, and got the Internal Server Error message. I guess I won't be able to update my FS posting, to remove sold items. UPDATE: I went back to my FS posting and removed ALL special formatting: BOLD TEXT, ITALIC, STRIKE THROUGH, and was able to save the changes. I will see if this works in the future. If NOT, I won't be able to update my FS posting by removing SOLD items, so people will have to contact me to see if I still have the item they want or if

It's BAAAAACK!!! I can't even edit my FS posting anymore, even if I change a few letters at a time!! Maybe I should just delete that post and start a new, updated FS/FT post? Larry EDIT: The forum let me start a completely new FS/FT posting, so I deleted all the content in Page 1 of my original post.

Thanks for that info. It's kinda what I was already leaning toward. Was it the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, or the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement - Quick Setting? Larry

I have been working on my ICM 1/72 Ki-21-1b Sally for awhile, and I noticed that the plastic reacts strongly to my normal plastic cement - Testors Liquid Cement. When I brush on the cement and press the "seams" together, I get a lot of "melted" gray plastic ooze out. I am wondering if the Testors Cement is too "hot" for the ICM plastic. I don't use super glue, except for adding PE parts, but I also have bottles of Tamiya Cement, Tamiya Extra Thin Cement & Mr. Cement S (Mr. Hobby). Any suggestions for a "less aggressive" cement to use on ICM kits? Larry
