  1. I would use French Light Blue Grey and French Dark Blue Grey from Polly Scale. Edit: added picture showing the different hues
  2. French Mirage Blue is available in Vallejo acrylics, and I bought some bottles from Great Models Webstore in the U.S. That place carries a nice selection of hard to find paints.
  3. You can order XtraColor paints from Great Models in the U.S.
  4. I just took a look at my Tamiya 1/48 F-15C, and it has nice recessed panel lines. Plus, its landing gear struts are reinforced with metal wires.
  5. Hmm, searching for F-15C didn't yield any results for me. The link listed provides comparisons between the Academy kit and the Hasegawa kit. What about the Tamiya 1/48 F-15C?

    Mig-29

How is the nose of the Academy Mig-29? I saw an aftermarket nose for it and was just wondering if the Academy nose is off.

I found French light blue gray and dark blue gray in Polly Scale acrylics, but I think those are more appropriate for the Mirage 2000. What colors is everyone using for the top and bottom of an F.1C? Thanks.
  9. I bought a Paasche Talon a couple of weeks ago, and so far I'm loving it. It's easy to use, gives a very nice, smooth, consistent spray pattern, and the adjustment knob at the end of its handle is very useful when preshading panel lines. I tried the new Badger Patriot for a week and didn't like it as much. The Patriot was slightly easier to clean, but it didn't feel comfortable in my hand, and its trigger was a little slippery. I have been using the metal Aztek double action airbrush over 10 years, and to me, the Talon is just as easy to use and clean. I just recently retired my met
  10. Today was my first time airbrushing Future, and the result turned out to be very good. I just sprayed it straight through my Paasche Talon (awesome airbrush) over Aeromaster Warbird Acrylics and got a nice glossy sheen without any orange peeling.
