  1. Put me down for a 1:35 set. Where do I send the money?
  2. I will post pictures of the kit when I get a camera tomorrow
  3. Does anyone have a spare Revell Bo-105 laying around? If so, I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. PM me or email me at remington at remingtonboxdesign dot com. :) Thanks!
  4. AWESOME! I have been tossing around the idea of scratchbuilding one of these. Can you send me a PM with the price shipped t0 80807?
  5. Just curious on what size brushes most of you use, I have an 18/0 liner brush that I use for detail work but other than that, I have a dime store variety that is use for everything else. What are good sizes to have in the arsenal?
  6. Well... I just won the Italeri Mirage F.1 and Eaglestrike decals on egay so that is the start, I have a cockpit from Cobra Company on the way and I will order the Fonderie Miniatures detail set if Mach2 models ever gets around to releasing it. I am also looking at a Pavla seat and some different options for wheels. I am going to steal some Mirage parts from various Eduard PE sheets. This outta be fun... In other news, does anyone know what the loadout was on the Mirages (501 and 508) that defected to Libya? Did they jettison/drop the bombs somewhere before Malta or what?
  7. As far as anyone knows, are any A-10s involved yet? I have 10-15 A-10 kits, I might as well get started on one of them Does the Libyan Mirage that defected to Malta count? If so, that is what I will build.
  8. Does anyone have a picture of this? It sounds amazing
  9. Interesting idea... Do civilianish escorts count? I am not sure if these aircraft were used for security... NASA F-18s that accompanied the NB-52 rocket launches NASA T-38s used to escort the Shuttle to landing The E-4B that escorts AF1 whereever it goes, hell it can call in all the firepower in the world... Am I full of beans? If so, I will just go on my merry way :)
  10. I am in with a MH-60S Knighthawk from NAS Whidbey Island VH-60? Whitehawk C-20G Marines VIP bird This outta be fun!
  11. I use the back side of an xacto knife... an a PE saw
  12. Hey no problem! Sorry, my work sold out to a different company, they brought in different management, blah, blah, blah... Anyway, I just need to install the new glass from Anthony. Its far from good... good from far...
  13. Hey~ If you do decide to do this... I am game to help with the design. Remington
  14. Would you mind relinking the pictures... I might take you up on the Tamiya lot
  15. What is a good loadout to model for a C-17 on a mission to Iraq/Afghanistan in the early days of OEF? I was thinking an Abrams, a Stryker, a HEMTT and a couple of HMMWVs... is that realistic or too varied? Thanks! Also, what are some good C-17 reference books?
  16. Theoretically the decals are on... just someone was a jack*** and decided that clear could go on over the windows... that is not true... Now I am going to have to model it on a snowy tarmac so the clear on the windows looks like frost... I am on a trip now, but I will have pictures soon.
  17. I am only posting this here because your PM box is full... I was wondering what the time frame is on the release of this kit?
  18. The Polis kit is the bomb... There are sprues marked for the VIP boxing, the Police boxing and the Medevac boxing, the only thing it doesn't have is the sprue with the backboard and stuff. All in all, an excellent way to spend about $35 at your local LHS... Is this what you are talking about? Also, I agree with you about the time thing... this is a hobby not a freaking job... it doesn't have to be done yesterday "Rome wasn't built in a day )
  19. WOW! That museum replica is nowhere even close! This is going to be cool project! There are some amazingly cool liveries coming out of this GB...
  20. On second, closer inspection... I believe I have sprues for all of the versions that Revell released this kit... does anyone have pictures of the sprues in the ADAC boxing so I can tell which ones I need for sure?
  21. Wow! So would this be considered the contemporary to the Lancaster that the RCAF used for rescue? It looks like about the same scheme, and I would guess close to the same mission.
