  1. It's all good. Harley's really are as bad as I joked about though. It's amazing how the masses buy such junk because of some supposed legend.
  2. I have never seen a better built printer, have you? My older 932C has been flawless for many years.
  3. Why? Do you like oil on your driveway?
  4. Very true. The man is a genius and one of the best CEO's out there from what I have read. Hey, more power to him! I know that HP is the only printer I will ever buy.
  5. I agree. The greats are almost all gone and it is another era now. I am only 48 but I miss John Wayne, Dean Martin, Fred Astaire and all the other greats of that era.
  6. I had to work a security special event yesterday at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA and it was interesting. I watched over the executives vehicles and directed other Hewlett Packard executives where to go to their meeting. They had a parking spot in front for the CEO's car and I had to move an orange cone for him as he pulled into the spot. It must be nice to be able to afford a black Mercedes Benz S550 that lists for $91,000 huh? I found this and now understand why he drives such a nice car. This guy is loaded! From Wikipedia: "The New York Times reports that in 2008
  7. Well said Ross. So many follow what the "experts" said in a magazine that they have forgotten how to experiment on their own! Good enamel thinners are not that much more expensive than cheap lacquer thinner in my experiences.
  8. I recommend the Badger Patriot 105 or if you want even more precision, the Renegade Velocity. Both will do anything you will need and Badger's customer service is the best in the business.
  9. I have two Porsche 1/24 kits that I am considering selling so make me a reasonable offer if interested. I have a Tamiya 959, and a Fujimi 930. Both are opened boxes but complete and unbuilt. Shipping to U.S. only. Thanks
  10. You can use a standard drill motor as well. Just make sure you are level and bore straight down into the board.
  11. Tool caddy thing? Do you mean the white things holding my tools? I made them my friend. I sat standard 2x4's on their end and bored a hole down into them with a Forstner bit in a small drill press.
  12. Not by a long shot? Oh brother I can't wait to hear the argument against this. If the point is taken then why start out your post with an obvious rebuttal?
  13. To each his own my friend. I look at the end result coupled with price to recommend an airbrush for someone. Shiny and fancy don't mean much to me really. Coming from a family of master heavy equipment mechanics it reminds me of people arguing over end wrenches. Some will say that Snap On are the best and they are nice and very shiny and all but they do not take bolts off or hold up any better than Mac Tools, Proto or any of the other well made wrenches out there. Another example I use is watches. Yes a Rolex is considered the finest watch available for the most part but does it tell time
  14. Don't worry about it DutyCat, what material an airbrush handle is made of is inconsequential and why someone would bring that up is beyond me.
  15. I read that thread and saw nothing about anyone saying they were, "crap because such and such a manufacturer doesn't make one." Did I miss something?
