  1. Be careful and check resin nozzles in your kit before buying!
  2. Here is the good thread about Academy's MiG-29 assembly with the airframe corrections It's in Russian, but at least you can see the pictures and comparison with drawings My link
  3. I'd prefer Eduard masks because they just don't shrink
  4. Remember ex-Academy F-111C? Might be the same thing with Mirage... BTW, Academy, in its turn, has repopped some Italeri kits - e.g. 1/48 BAE Hawk with radar nose conversion.

  6. Dark Ghost Grey is not too dark to me, but it's definitely too blue for Soviet transport aircrafts. I would suggest using some of British colours - Medium Sea Grey or Camouflage Grey (Hu165, Hu167) or some mix of them.
  7. Oh, small LERXes... Could they be 100%?
  8. Seems Amodel has wrong nozzles (too wide)???
  9. We do need the resin conversion for Hobbycraft kit!
  10. I bought this kit some time ago and also have a question concerning LERXes: The kit has large 100% LERXes, but it seems Trumpeter "forgot" to give the lower parts of them - they are "empty" from the bottom side. I decided to scratch the bottom surfaces of the LERXes from the plastic card and glued them to the kit. Am I right or not? Or, maybe, the LERXes are absolutely correct?
  11. Wait, wait, guys... Trumpeter isn't the first who did such a stupid thing, why you're blaming it so hard? Does somebody of you remember the ancient Revell's MirageIII or MiG-21PF in 1/32 scale? They were done in the same way!
  12. Could somebody tell what's its advantage over Zvezda kit? The engraved panel lines and rivets only? Or they provide the correct cockpit and full cabin interior? The pitch control mechanism looks not correct to me (hard to say if it's designed or just assembled wrong...)
  13. The engine and cockpit look rather basic to me... I think I still should keep my unbuilt Neomega kit for spares here
