  1. ChippyWho , Holmes, Thank you very much ! Yep, I plan to build a base a wooden style box (balsa wood) but have no time to do it yet T..T
  2. Great weathering effect ! look like a real plane
  3. Agreed that the camo is just great, ^^
  4. The paint chipping were done by "Hair spray" technique by using the hair spray as a thinned layer between the base (silver) and the green coat. Once the top green coat is dry, use warm tap water to dissolve the top coat and use the toothpick to remove the green layer out to show the silver base coat. or you can also google the hair spray technique, there also a Youtube that describe this ^^ Thanks Els, the hair spray is quite a quick way to get result like this but it hard to control. Actually the base, I stole from my latest work on Gundam, ha ha but it somehow very well fit with egg
  5. East meet West ! Zero vs Thunderbirds The base, I stole from my latest RX78-2 base, how good it fit with this ! Thanks everyone for visiting ! Any comments are very welcome
  6. Just another Egg ! ^^ This is my second Egg plane from Hasegawa Egg plane series About two days to finish this one, just want something done by the past weekend because I'm felt a bit stress about Bkk flooding news that spread all around (TV / Facebook / My family / My colleges) just want to relax an do something else ! The coloring mostly done by Hair spray technique, and when I place a decal I used mask softer to apply and wait for just 20 sec then use tooth-stick to remove / damage the decal to get a worn like other area. Thanks everyone for visiting and happy
  7. Thanks Grant for your kind comment  For the mast, It's come with LionRoar PE set for Kagero. The rigging, I used a fly-fishing thread (img below) For more info : http://www.jsflyfishing.com/cgi-bin/item/TW-030020-0000/57000/UNI-Products-Caenis-Thread.html And your concern was right, I was also had a problem when do the rigging the nylon thread has no Weight, so I need to pull it to get a straight line since it always bend the mast when I pull the rigging line (you can see from some close-up img). I need to balance the pull force for both left/right side so it will not look so
  8. Just notice that the ARC forum also has the ship category ! cool This is my second build for ship modelling, it's really time consuming project. The kit is PitRoad, 1/700 IJN Kagero class destroyer with PE set from LionRoar. Traditional shot ! and again, I forgot ... to attach the IJN Flag will fix this later. Thanks everyone for visiting.
  9. Really nice one ! love the weathering
  10. Thanks, for the wire connection to the base I would leave it as is for now still not find the better way to hide them Thank you very much ^^ Nope, I used a cover of plastic box to be a base Thanks man ! Thank you, glad to hear that you love the LEDs For the canopy I did a mistake, forgot to paint it as Grey, will fix this soon ^^ ! Thank you
