  1. Revell Germany. F-16A canopy with the yellow/gold tint, although I am not particular about that.
  2. Hello all. I had the misfortune of ruining a 72nd scale F-16 canopy beyond realistic repair. I am wondering if anyone has a spare that I can bum off. Obviously, I'll cover any postage costs within reason. Thanks!
  3. Like he said: you go with trial and error until you get the feel for it. I always try to paint either a piece of scrap plastic or an old model (that exists for the sole purpose of being a guinea pig) to get the sense of whether or not the paint needs more or less thinner.
  4. What do you use? I have always used the rattle cans (both Model Master and Tamiya), and I have never tried to airbrush the gloss or dull cote lacquers. What do you use to thin them?
  5. Thanks. At the rate I finish models, they probably have been sitting too long. :(
  6. Greetings all! This is my first time posting. I have a problem whenever I apply pastels for weathering, and I hope that someone can give me a suggestion. Whenever I try to seal the pastels with flat coat (such as Testors or Model Master Dull Cote from a spray can), I keep getting a "spatter appearance" to the pastels which messes up the whole effect. Any suggestions as to how to seal the weathering without making the object look like it has been rained on? Thanks!
