  1. thanks for the conversion Trevor. ;) Ken
  2. Dmitriy, Thanks - It depends on location and time frame of your base. Current US tarmacs range from a very light grey, to a tannish-grey, to black (ie runways). I would experiment, and you can always modify the color some after painting by weathering. Ken
  3. How about I post here, these are all from ARC's gallery. Hope they help. Cheers Ken
  4. I usually am not going for a "diorama" look to the "concrete", so the look just has to be a similar color, and dull reflection. It is a simple display surface. I don't add oil/fuel spill marks either. I typically use a spray can for the glass, would take too long with an airbrush to cover. Even with the can, it takes upwards of 3 coats, sometimes with a sanding in between. Ken
  5. Thanks Keith - yup, that's exactly how I do it. I don't sand the glass, I clean it well to be sure the paint will stick. So far, so good. Ken
  6. Swanny, I have bought mine at the grocery store and Wal-Mart. I am in the US. Ken
  7. Thanks for the kind words Tilt, and glad to hear the materials arrived. Cheers Ken ;)
  8. Harv, I have not decanted to a bottle, but I have to a paper cup to use for touch up. I have read, though, to do it to a bottle, tape a straw over the nozzle and spray. Not sure how messy or successful the operation will be though. I know when I have sparyed into a cup, it needs a slight mixing as it tends to sepaprate a bit. Good luck! Ken
  9. My list of recent and multiple deals... Sean Bratton Murph Dave Roof Daniel Butcher Fred Krause Jeff Stoermer Mike Winn Mike Reeves Thomas Lore Jeff Brundt Justin Davenport Neu John Bibay Gene Onacko Sean Tobin Blaine Miller Steve Stohr And many, many more single deals that I cannot remember them all, but all good. Ken
  10. DOH! I have a nephew Drew also. Thanks for the correction DREWE and sorry for the misspelling DREW. So there! :D Ken
  11. Drewe. Looks great - you even got the right color in the back of the AMRAAM nozzle. The weathering is very subtle, which is right-on for a boss jet. Will you go into detail on the weathering and what you used for photo back ground? If not, could you please let us know? Very nice - I look forward to the article. Cheers Ken
