  1. @KursadA, Sir, if you ever do another KC-135R sheet (still many markings not done yet), I have another nomination. In my recent travels, I saw a KC-135R of the 6th ARW with the usual MacDill blue tail band, but with a medium sized (~4ft dia) black circle "R" below the American flag, very reminiscent of their B-29As during WWII. I was not able to take a photo or get close enough to determine the serial number, but I will ask around with my tanker buds. In the meantime, here are some links to the 6th ARW flagship, KC-135R 62-3498 circa 2021. MacDill details KC-135, “Spirit of Tampa Bay”
  2. Very nice Fishbed! Love the later marks.
  3. Chris, Beautiful build; nice scheme and well executed. One for the display case. Keep up the great work! K/r, Dutch
  4. Good tip, Skyraider! Will definitely use that one!
  5. And I will third that request for a reprint of the 1/72 AD-5/A-1E sheet.
  6. Hey Andy! Terrific to see you got your Mojo back! Kinda like Austin Powers, huh?
  7. @KursadA, I know that you have been cranking out the B-52 sheets, and we are grateful. Would you consider adding NASA's NB-52H 61-0025 to the mix? Pretty simple markings, tail serial, NASA logo and stripes. Not sure if you want to do the gold outlined dark blue stripe in 1:72 scale, but could do it for the 1/144 release? Just asking. K/r, Dutch
  8. What goes around, comes around, n'est pas?
  9. Sorry. I typed 1/144 in the search bar and that listing ppopped up, so I assumed it was 1/144. My bad. 😞
  10. Bravo Brett! Way to tackle and work through the difficulties on this kit. The results are very nice indeed! Seems counter-intuitive to place high-viz markings on a drone, but I do like that Texas splash on the tail! Hmm, not sure I want the ANG flying around with live Hellfires, but this is Texas, so maybe okay! We'll say it's open carry and call it a border guard mission! K/r, Dutch
  11. Yes! P-3, Part 1! Which means there will be a Part 2 and possibly a Part 3? I would really love to see a VW-4 WP-3A, a NOAA WP-3D and a USCS/BP P-3 AEW. Not to mention several foreign P-3s that have not been done.
  12. So the envelope showed up today. It was wrinkled and torn, but the contents were undamaged, thanks to Alex's excellent packing technique. However, USPS still shows the following: I left very positive feedback for Alex Aftermarket on eBay, blaming the delivery delay on USCS & USPS. It wasn't his fault. All's well that ends well! Kind regards, Dutch
  13. Nice pic and nice project. Well, let me know if'n you do need anything else.
  14. Don, What about the BLU-27 750# nape in Hasegawa Weapon Set A and possibly some True Details BLU-32 (500#) nape canisters? I may have some of those. K/r, Dutch
  15. Dauntless Hobbies (rebelalpha on eBay) has four available. Scott Z. is a great dealer and person.
  16. Beautiful build Ray! I remember seeing this aircraft at the Naval Aviation Depot at Cherry Point undergoing the repairs/refurbishment sometime between '89 & '91. Had a friend on the team that resurrected her from the ice. Nicely done. She looks like she just left NADEP. Kind regards, Dutch
  17. Wow! Terrific work on the MC 707 and beautiful paint job. Love it!
  18. Chris, Absolutely gorgeous! I would love to build a 1/144 22nd ARS, 366th WG KC-135R as you have done here. Beautifully done, sir. Yes, those engine covers are the bomb! Drooling all over myself. Kind regards, Dutch
  19. @BWDenver, Bryan, in the UH-1H fire crash rescue training photo, it looks like you are tethered to a water tank / blivet just out of the right frame. You certainly did not have an internal water / retardant tank aboard? K/r, Dutch
  20. and one more MERDC color reference.
  21. According to Cyber Modeler MERDC colors may be other than I stated above. There were a total of twelve MERDC colors, with various winter, summer, desert, forested camouflage schemes using any combination of four of the twelve available colors. Your results may vary. MERDC Summer Verdant Camouflage Color Profile and Paint Guide Paint Guide Dark Green FS 34079 ANA 631 - MERDC FG Interior Green FS 34151 / TT-P-1757 ANA 611 - MERDC LG NATO Sand FS 30277 MERDC S Navy #3 Black FS
  22. Brother Don, Based on the photos in one of Bryan's earlier posts above, my guess is that the colors in this scheme are based on the MERDC camouflage of the early 1970's through early 1990s. FG = Forest green FS34079 FD = Field drab FS30118 S = Desert sand FS30279 Black areas = Flat Black FS37038 K/r, Dutch
  23. Dai, Be careful of scammers responding. Check out the bad traders thread for clues. K/r, Dutch
  24. Nice Phantom pic, utley!
