Matt, It was called the Asia Minor Scheme in official USAF Painting guides. Iranian F-4 Phantoms and Iranian, Saudi, & Jordanian F-5E/F Tiger II s (Herks too, I think) also received the scheme. Don, would this set of Handley Page Victor wheels work? I just purchased a set for my Welsh 1/144 HS Nimrod MR.2P. Spokes are the wrong pattern, but they may work. Hannants.co.uk has them at a reasonable price, but shipping will kill you. Or maybe the B-1 late wheel set will work better? It is cheaper and more closely represents the DC-8 wheels, though they may be fatter. I am using these ICW the SAC u/c legs for my Revell DC-8s. I am fixing to make an order in a few weeks. If you don't already have the SAC u/c legs or wheels, I can add a set wheels to the order and split a set of u/c legs

I contacted Shapeways. They will only refund for damaged goods within ten days of receipt. Unfortunately, as the two prints are not "damaged," and I had to travel this past weekend, and had a full days work this week, and am working this weekend as well, I have missed the ten day reporting deadline. I will see what I can do to sand as smooth as possible, apply putty and sand smooth again, then scribe major panel lines. I will will probably paint these both in the NASA white scheme. Then I will order one in white plastic and see how it turns out. If it smoother, I will use it for the various

SCM says that the HH-43B is a re-pop of the HOK-1 kit, but with new parts. Surely, some parts are reusable, but the vast majority should be new plastic, at least more than 50%. Perhaps, SCM should say new tool, instead.

Well, if you are aiming to build in 1:72 scale, a cheap Kitech or Snap-Fit Monogram 1:144 or DML 1:200 scale B-2 kit may fill the bill. As it is to be a Naval refueler, hose and drogue is in order.
