About Me

People sometimes ask about my profile photo and user name.

I'm a former CH-47D Flight engineer who crewed in the late 90's.
Army aviation vets might be aware that Chinook crews were often nicknamed Hookers.
My first helicopter was 84-24169 and on my first training flight our call sign was Hooker169.

So now as a boring old airline mechanic, I try to pay homage to my time in the service by using the screen name Hooker169.
