That looks great! I always marvel at guys who can do photo etch successfully. That stuff it literally the bane of my existence.... Love the added riveting detail also!

I like it! I'm with Loach, I think the weathering visually suits the model very well. Nice job!

That’s awesome! You pretty much nailed the look, bud. Back when I crewed, we had no concept of masking our sealant jobs, just an index finger and spit. Always turned out looking like butt😂

Awesome, great info, Dutch! Btw, I got your PM. I’ve definitely got my work cut out for me!
-
Perfect, Thanks Andy!

Does anyone know what version Texan this is? @Dutch I know you have an extensive library of New England aviation, and most probably have the answer but I feel you may be covered up in post hurricane restoration. I'm starting my nesting chores on a New Hampshire ANG aircraft lineage collection, but I want to make sure I’m getting them right. If anyone else can help with versions of other a/c flown by the 133rd out of NH, wether it’s Grenier or Pease that would be awesome! Thanks in advance Mike

Wow! When I started scrolling down the first picture began to come into view, I initially thought it was a reference picture of the actual jet taking off! Very convincing. Maybe I should take a 14 year break...... Well done👍

These are A321
-
These are 737-900
-
The first 5 are of an A350.
-
Yes, there are 51 A319-100 in service right now. Unfortunately, Delta never ordered the 787 opting for the A350-900 with 33 in service and 20 A350-1000 currently on order. I'll see what's out there later today.

A brief interwebs search for mask sets came up empty, but if you give me the aircraft you'd like to model I can run out to the hanger and gets ref pics for you. Obviously, not of the triple-seven since the company no longer flies it, but of everything else currently in service shouldn't be a problem. Mike

Thanks Greg!

I’ve finally completed my Revell century series collection with the 1/48 F-105F from the Georgia ANG. It’s certainly not perfect, the old Microscale decals left a lot to be desired but they got the job done. It’s basically OOB with the exception of SAC metal gear and Black Box cockpit.

Love the little details such as the pro-seal around the eye brow window and APR-39 antennas! Very well done 11Bee

Any kits of the Boeing AH-6i helicopter?
Hooker169 replied to ReccePhreak's topic in Research Corner
Larry, I found this conversion for the Dragon kit in 1/35 scale. Little Bird MH-6M Conversion Kit for all Dragon Kits - 1/35 – Black Ops Models It gives you the 6 bladed hub with four bladed tail rotor but still short the FLIR nose fairing. -

Larry, I’ve been looking for you on and off for a couple days. Near as I can tell there isn’t one. Closest I could get was the Stealth boxing from Academy and adding the CMK MD-500E conversion but you’d still be short the nose fairing with FLIR, 6 blade head and duel bladed tail rotor. Mind you this is all in 1/48. I’ll keep poking around in the other scales you mentioned. -
It’s good to see you’re keeping your sense of humor during these trying times, Dutch! You guys have been through a ton this last month, it would be easy to get dragged down into a funk but you keep plugging away. Keep it up, we’re all rooting for ya! Btw, I’ll take two bags of Dutch’s roasted Chickory tea😂

You bet! Jim Rotramel’s (aka MrVark here on ARC) pages on Hyperscale are invaluable resources for anyone modeling a Vark👍 Click on the ‘Back to reference library’ tab on the bottom of the linked page and scroll down till you see his other references.

Love it, I’m stealing this! Stay safe brother

FB-111A "Aardvark" 67-0159 | General Dynamics FB-111A "Aardv… | Flickr F-111 in Detail Part Four - Landing Gear (clubhyper.com) There are patches of black non-skid in areas you'll have to mask off but overall, they were red.

Dutch, I’m sure you’ve got contingency plans already worked out but if push comes to shove we are an hour north of Atlanta, well out of the storm path. You and the Dutchess are more than welcome to stay with us. We have a basement that’s basically it own apartment. Full bath with a wet bar, small fridge and comfy foldout bed. The separate model studio is down there too😉 You guys are always welcome brother. Stay safe and reach out if needed. Mike

Dang, that’s beautiful! Love the tank plates detail you added. And those engines are some of the nicest I’ve seen! Well done
