The flap tracks and attach fittings along with jack screws are missing in the kit so the only way to attach the flaps extended is to scratch build these items. @modelcollect see images below.

BTW, MC mentioned that he will adjust the CAD drawings in the areas you've pointed out.

Well, you and your team are doing a great job at listening to suggestions and correcting the kits. Several manufacturers and decal companies here on ARC have adopted a similar approach and are very successful because of it. Well done! You mentioned earlier that once the corrections are finalized they could be available in as little as 30 days, could you elaborate on the 2 options for ordering the replacement parts? There will be a B-52G correction parts kit link on modelcollect.com correct?

The last time I chatted with MC a week ago they were finalizing the tail gun area molds. He said they needed time and wanted to get the updated parts right. If they rushed and released them with flaws it “would not be good”-MC He also mentioned an updated wing but wouldn’t elaborate more. Again, no mention of time frame.

I chatted with MC on messenger a minute ago and they said that they can’t pay shipping for all the G correction sets, shipping would kill them so they have two ideas on the table. “1, we can offer a discount on one new item, such as 40% off , if they buy together, we can combine shipping 2, or they pay 15USD as shipping cost, we give them one replacement part and other one item for free” A bit cryptic but you have to respect the fact that they recognize the issue and are trying to find a solution. I also recently bought the Hobby Lobby "Neo for Iwata" top feed airbrush and couldn't be happier. I was an Aztek guy for 20 years, which I thought was easier, and man was I wrong! The Neo is so easy to use it's unreal. I can get tight spray patterns by thinning the paint way down and regulating my air to under 5 psi. Cleanup takes 30 seconds or so. I've never owned some of the more expensive airbrushes so I can't really say which is better but I've never heard anything bad about the Paasche VLS or the Eclipse.

MC addressed those exact concerns earlier thank goodness.

Sorry for the dark pictures, these are off my IPhone. Basically its the Academy kit OOB with the exception of Ozmods wheels (completely worth it), some cockpit photo etch. I scratched nose gear taxi and landing lights and extended the nose strut by almost 1/8 inch. I also raised the main gear a bit so it doesn’t sit so low. Thanks for the help gents(you know who you are)

I forgot to get back and thank you guys. I used, for the most part, the first reference I pictured above along with various actual aircraft pictures. 68-0180 the F-111D I’m modeling doesn’t have many pics on the web but reading back through the ARC archives I was able to cobble together the scheme with some interesting tidbits. Such as the stateside -111’s pattern were generally masked when painted at depot and Europe -111’s were hand sprayed hence the hard vs soft edge between colors.
