  1. I noticed in the last picturte of the right wing that there is what looks like a Smokewinder on Sta 9! Those would be useful on European Demo F-16s!! So are we going to get 600 gallon wings tanks along with this conversion or sold seperately? Chappie
  2. I already have a YF-16 and that is what I would like to do. Eventually I would like to send Steve an article that includes all Blocks. Couldn't the I conversion be used to build an F? They look very similar. Chappie
  3. Are 600 gallon tanks on there way too? F-16I decals? What is in the last picture? I got a Red X. Chappie
  4. :P :) AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! This conversion better be worth the wait! Chappie
  5. Ditto. I ordered 6 CBU-87s and after six months I had my credit card credited and now get my CBUs from Shawn Hull. Chappie
  6. Alright Kursad! When I have questions about Turkish Vipers I'll just E-mail you! Thanks for the 'in a nutshell' post, that's a big help. I know a little about each countries F-16s but don't really get into detail until its time to build one. BTW, this is only my first Turkish F-16, I intend to build every one of the Turkish jets on the Zotz sheet! :D Chappie
  7. I'm trying to pick an F-16 to build during my 2 weeks over at Andrews. I need to pick a jet that I can build OOB because I have no time to order a D-model cockpit or any ALE-50s, PIDS or whatever. I'm thinking of doing a Turkish Block 50. Are the external features of Turkish Block 50s the same as USAF CCIP Block 50s? The pictures on F-16.net seem to tell me yes, but I want to check here to be sure. Several photos I saw showed that TuAF Block 50s seem to have the CCIP/MLU-type bird slicers mounted on ADF-style plates rather than directly to the fuselage. Other than that I can't see any ot
  8. The detail on the underside is just as good as the Monogram kit.
  9. Here is my C&H/Monogram F-100F in one piece except for stabs. This is only the second resin converions I've done, fit has been a bit of a problem. Either its the kit or I shaved off too much resin when trimmed the fuselage havles (top/bottom just like Mono. F-100D). I've had to fill the gap between the halves with styrene and a little putty. Hope it'll look okay once painted, which is still aw ways down the road. Chappie
  10. Oh, those are nice! I'm so undecided at what 16 to do next......... Thai....Siam? FAV.....Aztec? Edwards...TB? Netz #107....IsraDecals? Noble Eagle Jersey jet......TB? Sigh. Chappie
  11. Remember to open the hole on the inside of the intake so you can attach the HTS pod. Another thing from a veteran Hase. F-16 builder- save all the extra parts from the kit. Chappie
  12. Ken, you said my four favorite (modeling) words: New 1/48th F-16 decals Cool, now I can build one of the Mako jets that I worked on during OIF, just have to change the tail number. Chappie
