  1. Very nice,I thought it was made in 3D!
  2. I strongly agree... He spent years working on it.
  3. mmhhh...I don't know how the noses look without cover now
  4. Indeed,look at 06:20....This is just real!
  5. Those are covers only?If true they should have been removed while undergoing tests like this: I'm not sure...
  6. I don't think I could fly this beauty after purchasing it...
  7. No reply? Ok ... So I did rescribe the panels lines, and assembled the wings Missiles ready
  8. Watch this vid: This guy is just crazy, and he still have the guts to fly it! The very, very long build: SU-27 Madness I'm sure you'll find the time to browse the 80+ pages, the awesome job he did on the rivets, the panels, the landing gears, the turbines...is just insane!
  9. Actually I quite love my "Nifty Two-Fifty" ,it's unbeatable for the price, and performance wise,I think it is the number one in this range.Have a look on my first air shots ever (compressed image):
  10. That's a monster lens I have an EOS T1i (500D)+ 18-55mm+55-250mm
  11. Good enough for a first try,but you have to try more! Which lens are you using?
  12. One question: Should I go for rescribing or not?
  13. What is wrong with the ICM cans? (I'm building one)
  14. This is what I thought when I saw it... Imagine it chasing you:
  15. My friend Der_Peiper - who is really good in 3D - did an awesome job on this box art, picturing the SuperHind MKIII of the Algerian Air Force in a stunning and scary way.The MKIII is a south-african upgrade of the Mi-24 done by ATE .No need to ask about the model,it is simply not available ... Other renders available here: Der_Peiper Military Gallery Hope the manufacturers will think about it,that would be really great. For info,a conversion kit can be found here: SuperHind Conversion Kit
  16. Wait till you see it flying in FC 2.0 The air intakes are almost completed, and I like the result,as you said, the Foxbat shape is revealing itself And the subtle curve I was talking about The spill ducts require more work I think
  17. I had to glue the external part to the internal one and to follow the shape at the same time with the help of a styrene piece As you can see below ,the result is quite convincing (I know some putty/sanding is required ) I had less luck with my 3D model,it was not easy to get the shape that I wanted, but while working on solving issue,I kept thinking about the excellent work the russians engineers did on the bird, even without modern softwares.
  18. I took note from many MiG-25s builds available on the net,and the part I was fearing the most came out quite easy,in contrast with other kits - Hasegawa,Revell ,... -that require some extra efforts on the specific air intakes of the Foxbat, again ICM did a good job on this side, and as a total beginner I appreciate it. Though the MiG-25 is known for its rough and brute design, the massive air intakes are not fully rectangular, and their external thickness is not linear too.Add to this the top intake spill ducts that follow the same curve ICM solution was to divide the intake in 3 parts: -E
  19. Thanks Ken,it makes sense,as you can see the air intakes are having red warnings in French,I think those are the only Foxbats having this type of warnings, apart from the usual maintenance indications.
  20. Thanks Ol, Actually I did a lot of research on the Foxbat as I'm working on the 3D model too: MiG-25 3D But the problem is that very few pictures of the Algerian Foxbats are available,I tried hard to contact the MiGRemont plant in Ukraine (I know this is silly) but obviously they will never reply :)
  21. mmmhh...I think you're right Sebastijan,but it's too late.
  22. I'm trying hard to find other pictures of Algerian Foxbats,I think the only source to answer to the doors thing would be MiGRemont/Ukraine,as they did the modification.Anyone?
