  1. My rig,see the specs in my sig.Trouble-proof on DCS Black Shark,PS CS4,3ds Max 2010  and all the games! It is my first build. You can follow the step-by-step log here: Core i7 Build As mentioned before, there is no significant difference in building a single/duo/quad-core machine. The hardest is to choose the parts, and how much you're willing to pay.
  2. Thank you :D I haven't found any drawings/blueprints on the R15-300,so I based my modeling on pictures only.I hope the dimensions are close to the real thing.
  3. Some details on the R15-300 exhaust nozzles:
  4. That's right, structurally all the same. For the avionics, the Algerian MKAs have been stripped from all Israeli hardware, and replaced with French technology (Thales/Sagem).Also the Venezuelan MKVs are coming from Irkust, not from KNAAPO. I would really like to see a 1/48 MKA: And witn canards!
  5. 19 years is a very long life for a cat.My condolences.
  6. mmmhhh....maybe I will not wait... I have Black Shark and it would be nice to merge them together.
  7. This really good.Do you think Lazertran is a good solution for home-made decals?
  8. I will post more, working currently on the textures.
  9. The MKA is now on my to-do list.
  10. Happy to see that you like my Foxbat Holmes!
  11. Thanks Sebastijan! You can remove FC2 from the equation,I'm waiting for the DVD version.Downloaded already?
  12. Actually I came to scale modeling because of 3d modeling...though I haven't started yet my first "real" model  I think rendering an aircraft in 3D is as difficult as building a scale model, but both bring a lot of fun.I'm using 3ds Max 2010,texturing (in progress) with Illustrator/Photoshop,and final render in Mental Ray. I'm still waiting for my ICM MiG-25PD,will work on both...but not at the same time! Hope you like it:
  13. I've posted some HD pics of algerian Fencers-MK2 if it can help - as these look to be upgraded M -,loadout is clear, check here: Algerian SU-24MK2
  14. This is fuel released during engine start-up through a "bleed" valve to purge the combustion system at low pressure when the ratio Fuel/Air is still not sufficient to provide a good efficiency. For safety reason it can't be released unburnt (risk of explosion) so it is ignited, thus controlled.
  15. You're right! I was really expecting them to use the same sand camo as the Su-24MK2...
  16. The young algerian Su-30MKA fleet is based at Oum El Bouaghi AFB,which is in the North of Algeria, not far from the mediterranean sea. There are a lot of mountains there,as well as forests...so the desert scheme would be useless.
  17. To stay in the topic, some recent pics of the Algerian MKAs:
  18. And last but not least the SU-30MKA:
  19. I hope I'm not flooding... Old MK's
  20. Old MK loaded, heading to NAPO for the upgrade:
