1. Ahhhh, Sharknado 3. How could you go wrong with: -Mark Cuban as POTUS -A Phantom (named "Bessie" mind you) -Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano -Chris Jericho -A "classified" space shuttle :rofl:/>
2. I prefer the Tamiya flat white primer and then hit it with a coat of Future (or whatever your preferred gloss coat may be).
3. I use this lens for my wide-angle work as well. EXCELLENT piece of glass.
4. Absolutely FANTASTIC stuff! Great work.
5. At one point, I had my graduation tassel from 1999, a dreamcatcher, and a guardian angel medallion (just to appease Mom :rolleyes:/>), but had to take them down. I kept getting a "COMPASS NOT RESPONDING" message popping up on the display, so when I took my car to the dealer about it, they said it was because the stuff I had hanging from the mirror was interfering with the operation of the compass. Took them down and sure enough, I haven't had an issue since.
6. Yeah, the crash happened about an hour or so northeast of me. praying for everybody involved :crying2:/>
7. Very well said, Steven. And yes, the fans' reactions are priceless. I absolutely LOVE the post-WrestleMania RAW. The fans basically hijack the show and it's amazing...LOL.
8. I think a lot of it is what Ken mentioned above, and I think a lot of it is that I've just watched it since I was a child, and I just kind of stuck with it. I do enjoy the storylines and characters, and sometimes (especially back during the Attitude Era), there's some pretty good comedy in some of the promos/vignettes that they do. And the actual wrestling is very impressive to watch, considering the choreography and such that goes into it.
9. I've watched WWF/E since I was about 8 years old, and I'm not ashamed to say I still watch it, and enjoy the hell out of it. It was HUGE when I was in high school. There was a group of about 5 of us that watched it, and we drove our teacher nuts every Tuesday morning discussing the previous evening's Monday Night RAW. And yeah, when I was younger, I thought everything was real and that the characters legit "hated" each other (when I was like 9, I thought "Earthquake" was the biggest a**hole for sneak attacking and "injuring" my favorite dude, Hulk Hogan) but now I know that's not the case. It'
10. Well darn. Thanks for checking it out, though! :-)
11. They have a Titan IV rocket in one of the other hangars (I'm not sure if it's in the hangars that are off limits). If you happen to see it, can you please snap a few shots of that baby? Thank you :-)
12. Such tragic news. I've been a huge WWF/E fan since I was about 8 years old. I grew up watching him, and he was one of my favorites. Nobody could cut a promo like him, and nobody could bring the charisma like he could. Even more recently, when he had a part in an angle with his two sons Cody Rhodes and Dustin "Goldust" Rhodes, it was always a treat when he picked up the microphone. There was nothing "common" about this "common man." Rest in peace, Dusty Rhodes.
13. Yeah, I signed up for the upgrade last night. Guess I'll have to back up all my photos before I do the swap-over. The release is supposed to be 29 July, if I remember what I heard correctly.
14. Actually forgot about posting this from a couple weeks ago. An RC-135 was out here at Vandenberg for four straight days. Must have been doing some sort of testing on the range out there, because it was joined by the "billboard" P-3 out of Mugu, a C-17, and a fighter aircraft of some sort that my mom saw but couldn't ID (most likely a Hornet). His first pass actually set off a car alarm on the next street over from me...LOL. This shot was taken from my backyard in Vandenberg Village.
15.
From a fellow NASCAR fan...this is nice. Very nice!

16. I DVR'ed it and just finished watching. Very interesting stuff. And it's always nice to see Vandenberg (Delta II launch, JSpOC, and the X-37B landings) getting some airtime as well.
17. I actually use Heavens Above quite often to either see what's passing overhead, or if I'm out and see something, I note the time and check the site as soon as I can. I've seen my share of Lacrosse flyovers here.
18. Wow...that's some interesting stuff. The Lacrosse spysats were launched from here at Vandenberg. My grandfather used to work on the Titan vehicles that launched them.
19. Yes, please keep us posted, please. One of my 1:32 Tomcats came with a cracked (as in almost split down the middle) canopy, but I just haven't got around to seeing about replacing it yet, since I'm not building the kit yet.
20. Great stuff, man! Absolutely awesome! I was watching the Sprint Cup race on TV.
21. I filled the panel lines on mine (I used Bondo Spot Glazing Putty...worked like a charm), but there ARE photos out there of F-117's where you can see panel lines. I'm not sure if it's just a case of the RAM wearing off, or if the light just hit it right, or what, but I have seen them.
