  1. I'm building it. Sorry of it got confusing. I'm looking for aftermarket goodies. ReccePhreak already offered the wheel set, which I gladly accepted. I did have a beer or two... Harry Lutz, FL
  2. Gentlemen, The Heller 1/72 E-3B/F Sentry (Nato Version) must die. There, I said it. Given as a gift, moved and stored for years, glanced at while building, immediately discarded from the "next build" list, glowering balefully at me as the decades passed. I'm going to build it. Mostly out of the box. Which version - B or F - depends. I know it's flaws, and am hoping to correct some of them without breaking the bank. Or going insane - rivet counting at my age is pointless. If anyone has a True Details wheel set, or a decal option other than the kit set, o
  3. Hey guys, I need decals for three 1/700 USN jets in glossy sea blue. Any scrap decals will do as long as they are white letters and red, white and blue stars. I am building a 1/700 resin barge and want to put three jets on it. I have the 2 Cougars and a Banshee built and they actually look neat on the barge.....but. Can anyone help me out? Harry Lutz, FL
  4. Cool! They are really neat looking, and I am looking forward to seeing it when it's available. Thanks for the heads up! Harry Lutz, FL
  5. Hey gang, Anyone got an Airfix Westland Scout they might want to send to a new home? Got a decent stash for trading, or willing to buy. Thanks for looking, Harry Lutz, FL
  6. Once again, the forums produce another straight shooter. Great deal, and just what was needed at a fair price. Thanks. Harry Lutz, FL
  7. Guys, And the ES-3, Twin Otter and single Otter(but looking!) have all found a new home! Thanks again guys! Harry Lutz, FL
  8. Found the Twin, but would love the Otter! I'll get in touch, maybe meet for lunch? Harry
  9. Gentlemen, I have had such amazing luck stocking my stash I just can't resist another try. I am looking for the following kits, all in 1/72. If anyone can help out I will entertain any offers either to buy or trade. I have a modest stash of 1/72 kits and aftermarket goodies and would also trade. If any of you have any of these, let me know. The kits are Hasegawa ES-3A Viking Sea Shadow Hasegawa MU-2 SAR version Hasegawa 1/72 Israeli F-16I Single or Twin Seater Italeri AB-47 Academy SB-17 with Higgins Boat Hobbycraft Otter with Floats Revell/Matchb
  10. And one again the ARC gents produce a winner. A Hobby Craft 1/72 Stoof landed yesterday, exactly as advertised...along with enough extra decals to do seven. Generous to a fault, to be sure...but seven? Didn't do all that well at math, but that does pose a problem. πŸ˜€ Thanks for a great deal. Harry Lutz, FL
  11. Ordered one today, with masks. An F.6. I kinda want to the do the Belgian version that comes with the kit - in the NATO spirit and all. Thanks for all the input, guys. Harry Lutz, FL
  12. Every Sword kit I have built has been swell. Their BAC Strikemaster also comes with resin, PE and masks. The T-39 Sabreliner is sweet.
  13. Oh, those are pretty. Harry Lutz, FL
  14. Duly noted. Fortunately, I really don't care which Hunter, just any Hunter.πŸ˜€ Thanks. Harry Lutz, FL
  15. It does. There are so many really cool schemes - I guess hardly surprising since the T-Bird was ubiquitous in so many air forces. I'm looking forward to adding one to my shelf! Thanks, Harry Lutz, FL
  16. Gents, I was looking for opinions on the best Hawker Hunter to build. There seem to be a plethora of kits, boxed and reboxed, so I was hoping for some input before I add one to my stash. No early jet collection can be complete without at least one, but which one? Thanks in advance, Harry Lutz, FL
  17. Exactly! I mean, he told me his CO got decapitated by an 88 a couple of months ago, and his unit was on extended R and R. Promised to defend against any counterattack that threatened Paris, or even New York, but they looked rough, dude. Rough. Crap Game said hello, and wondered if you got the nylons he sent you. Harry Lutz, FL
  18. And he is everything I expected. Pulled into the local hobby store to meet him. There it was - a highly modified Sherman, with what I think was a 90 millimeter! The oddest bunch of I guess you could call them soldiers just lazing about...one was turning a chicken on a spit. I swear to God the guy working on the engine looked just like Captain Stuebing from Love Boat! It was surreal. What an amazing fellow Dutch is and as a Good Trader simply superlative. The first ARC member I have actually met, and he was exactly what I have come to expect from this gathering. Thanks, Dutch, and thanks
  19. Gentlemen, Boy, that happened quick. I have removed the models I am making deals on. Thanks for an incredible response. Harry Lutz, FL
  20. Paul, Took your advice. I was leaning toward the Platz kit anyway, but did want to explore the options. Got a good deal and ordered this morning. T-Birds rule! Now as for a decal scheme...... Harry Lutz, FL
  21. Gentlemen, I have modified my wish list of 1/72 kits I am looking for. This is due to the amazing generosity and assistance rendered here on ARC. I really thinned down the list, and my wallet, I assure you. Rest assured these are to build, you won't be seeing them on E-Bay - if my health holds out and the creeks don't riseπŸ˜€ Anyone who is interested can PM me an offer and if accepted I will have a money order headed your way within 24 hours. When it arrives, you ship the kit. The remaining kits are Hasegawa ES-3A Sea Shadow Hasegawa MU-2S (SAR version) It
  22. Gentlemen, I am seeking opinions on the best 1/72 T-33. I need to add one to my trainer collection and have n=been doing some research. Plaatz or Heller? Old Hasegawa? Your opinions would be welcome before I pull the trigger. Harry Lutz, Florida
