  2. Too many, and the stash just keeps growing while the number of built kits remains constant.
  3. Which number is paint and which number is thinner?
  4. Generally the Tamiya undercoat has more than a week to cure. I'll test that.
  5. I didn't know they had silicone in them. I always use a flat for a base coat, but I wonder if there could still be an issue. What else could I use for a base coat that is brush-able and an acrylic. I'm not sure about the humidity, but it is usually a tad bit dry.
  6. I've been using Dawn, actually. Simple Green will strip acrylics so I can't use that to clean over a Tamiya base coat, which is what I normally use. I'll have to look around Vallejo's site. I have some Citadel paints, but find them finicky as Vallejo. And I would have to mix them to get most of the colors I need. I can no longer deal with the odors of enamel and lacquer paints so I have to use water or alcohol based acrylics. I normally use Tamiya, but Tamiya does not brush well over large areas, even with a decent amount of retarder.
  7. I wash with dish soap and tap water, and then rinse with tap water followed by a quick rinse in distilled. I'm getting brush strokes thinned or not. The retarder doesn't seem to help the adhesion problem. I'll have to try Vallejo's own retarder. If only I could find a paint I liked...
  8. I'm having issues with brush streaks and issues with paint receding after applied and leaving bare spots. I've tried applying it over cured MM enamels and Tamiya acrylics, even washed, but still having issues. I've also tried using an acrylic retarder, which might have helped a bit.
  9. Windex turns Vallejo into gunk like alcohol will do to Pollyscale.
  10. Does anyone know what to use and in what ratio to then Vallejo paint for brushing? I've tried distilled water in various ratios but it never works well.
  11. You might try a liquid masking compound. I'm not sure if it won't pull up Metalizers, so try it on scrap first.
  12. I'm hoping for an E and possibly a later variant.
  13. Does anyone know if CyberHobby/Dragon plan on making more variants of their 1/48 Bf 110s and not just Ds?
  14. I want to trade my sprue of Tamiya 1/48 P-47M parts and the decals for just the decals in the 1/48 P-47D Bubbletop kit. I am not looking for aftermarket decals, just the ones in the kit.
  15. The link I posted was posted by the one of the founders and head admin of this site. It's not the fact that you have to use Google to search, it's the fact that the built in search doesn't work very well. It cannot handle special characters or a string of too small of a length.
  16. You can't use alcohols with PollyScale paints. That may be the problem.
  17. The search here works very poorly. Use Google like explained in this link. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=218262
