ON HOLD: Hasegawa 1/48 F-4E (possibly EJ)
FlyingSnowmew replied to FlyingSnowmew 's topic in In-Progress Pics
This is a special edition and the decals are made by Cartograf. If you could swap me wings I might just throw the decals in. -
ON HOLD: Hasegawa 1/48 F-4E (possibly EJ)

Do you have any pictures of the differences? -
I'm going to start on this one. I'll either build it using the kit decals for a Korean Phantom or the CAM decals for a JASDF F-4EJ, if I can get the hard wings. I'll use an Aires cockpit for it, if I can get it to fit without too much hassle. EDIT: On hold till I figure out whether I want an E or an EJ and when I figure out how to fit a square peg in a round hole (the Aires cockpit.)

Any ones that aren't pretty much finished except for paint? I was hoping to see a step by step one.

I do not believe there has ever been a humvee with any sort of winter camo. About the only ones you see are nato tri-colour and sand.

Are there any good in-progress threads of the HobbyBoss 1/48 F-105G or D? Google search isn't turning anything up.
-
Three way tie.
-
Looks the like the F-105G is in the lead.

Nothing in my stash grabs my attention. That's one of the problems.

I'm a bit burnt out on armor so I might try and start a jet, although I'm not sure which one.
-
I can send you a couple to finish.

Nope, haven't touched it yet. Still waiting on parts from Dragon. -
Finish a model.

I'm looking for a 1/72 C-130E kit for a friend of mine. Let me know if you have one for sale in the US. I am also looking for Arkansas ANG decals for it. I know Draw Decals makes a set.

O/T question regarding gas pumps...
FlyingSnowmew replied to TomcatFanatic123's topic in General Discussion
Nothing like that in Ohio yet. -
Revell's F-15E is a really nice kit, but it does have some fit issues with the wings, and lots of tiny pieces that make up the exhaust. I'd start with a simple kit first, maybe even something in 1/72 scale.

There aren't that many decals out there for a G-2. This is the only currently available set I could find: http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/...tem_num=PDH1345 I know Monogram released a set for G-2/4 but I no longer have it. Superscale and Aeromaster might have decals for a G-2 as well.

a(n) = a(1) + (n-1) * d
-
You have a dresser big enough to set that on top of? :D It'd be mean looking hanging from the ceiling. Just talk Mike Grant into scaling up his rivet decals.
-
It's still in the works so they might fix the rivets. But everyone wants recessed rivets and panel lines these days.
-
Body is definitely not flush riveted. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Boeing-B-17...f66af2d89ab5eef http://www.airliners.net/photo/Boeing-B-17...f66af2d89ab5eef I don't have any close up pics of the fuselage, but the in the pics I do have the wings look flush riveted. Let me know if you can find a close-up shot of the wings. Can't type tonight. x.x

The B-17 has both type of rivets. Most of the rivets are flush, but rivets around the wing joints and other areas aren't.
