    finally got some paint on this week. first attempt at pre-shading, definately not the nice tight lines some of you masters put out, but it's a start thanks for looking wayne

  10. thanks for the info. after the way the decals did, i ordered a set from twobobs since they had the same scheme for a fall back in case the airframe decals act up. wayne
  11. looks good. i.m doing the same plane right now, and if mine comes out half that nice i'll be happy. question for you. how did the decals work out for you? the decals i've used so far seems thick and i had a hard time getting them to lay down properly. mainly on the pylons and ordinance. wayne
  12. hi all. i've searched, but i could'nt find anything on cleaning the colored portions of the set(ip, placards) i did see that some use lacquer thinner, but i'm afraid it would strip the color off the pieces. this will be my first attempt at using PE, it scares me :) TIA wayne
  13. no foil yet, but something i want to try eventually. i have a hasegawa P-51 Man O' war i want to attempt this on but i need a little more experience with scribing and other stuff. thanks for the comments to you and JS. wayne
