  1. Hi MedHawk020, Why not slap a medhawk graphic on it and enjoy this hobby Can't hurt right?
  2. Hi John, We have an old STAT BK-117 out here in Spokane. I'm surprised how big the type is. My models are all 1/35th. Were you able to find my photobucket profile? the EC is one of my favorite carves. Hopefully the guys who started this thread will get serious about his intentions and chime in.
  3. :D ;) Mike thats one clean paint job!! I know Detroit Redwings have a cool paint scheme for their basketball team and the hockey team uses it too. I believe it is a 717. Then the pac 10 has schemes on Horizons Dash 8 Q's Nice craftsmanship Clean :D
  4. Hi guys, Here is part of a build photo to see if it brings intrest back to this thread. I think the Ec is a good looking heli let me know if you like it "Remember" I build in wood and $4.00 dollars worth of materials. Go Green!!! There are all sorts of photos in my folder. Just go to Photobucket and type in ArtworksIII for the build photos of MedStar page 3 I'm working on Broward County Sheriffs paint scheme which is not in this thread.... Yet Link????
  5. There to is options the last two fellows said good show guys!!!!!
  6. Hi Reggie, I believe the EC looks good in zinc as they are when they're being built. The 145 doesn't do any justice other than more room. The 145 employs the Bk tail section wich I think was the halmark of the 135 as the fenstron makes the helicopter easy on the eye. Don't know what to say about any kits as I make my own models from wood. For me it's the model as a paint scheme rather than the model as a space taker. This type of helicopter modeling is lost in the overall importance of military aircraft. General aviation has been my passion for 30 years. Again painting two scheme

Pin Wonderful aircraft subject. I'm waiting for the dreamliner to come out if ever it was a 747 that Evergreen international rebuilt to carry parts of the 7E7 boeing is developing
  8. Hello Paraman, Thanks for your service to our Nation! Not knowing what compressor You have is problematic. But to answer your question if you have a way to hook up to your hose you could get by if the pressure is high enough. Hope this might help you. ArtworksIII
  9. Hi Guys, I had to box up all of my hobby equipment and move early last year. Not at all bad other than I lost touch with this group. So what happened to the EC-135 GB that was started? There are some intresting graphics. I have two of them completed however mine were put on large scale models and two of the schemes are on one model if you can imagine that  I picked airlife and NWMedstar. What happened guys???
  10. Hi Guys, Whats the status on this GB? Seems as though it fizzeled out. Were there any of the above paintschemes achieved? I've been gone for awhile so I'm out of the fray somewhat  :P Good to be back
  11. Hi Again HOLMES, This lot of planks are 8 inches wide 10 feet long subflooring. If there are knots I just cut around them befor I plane them. All the parts I need for any model are fit into a 6 by 8 inch square. Cut via scrollsaw and edge sanded per bench band sander. I was given 12 planks so I'm set for material this summer. The home these came from is 100 years old which makes the models probably over 300 years old. "if you look at in those terms" the model your seeing is being made for a flight nurse to put on a shelf in her office. I'm happy your intrested in my work
  12. Hi HOLMES, This model is pine that came from flooring that was in an old home. I use a carbide drum tip to rough out the overall model then a palm sander to smooth.Next the window details and paint graphic are drawn in as per templates. I'll be posting more photos the last photo next week as the landing gear had to be cut down and the rest painted. Some how I sence that overall the post was on the wrong forum.
  13. Pirata Thanks for your input! I remember seein a MU-2 in the corner of a hanger here in Spokane along with a learjet nose section. It's weird how some guys like to collect such intresting stuff.ArtworksIII
  14. Hello! I'm ArtworksIII. I just realized that there is a Helicopter group in ARC Air Forums. I know there is a model of an EC-135 in kit form but I haven't found it locally. Since this aircraft is based here in Spokane Wa Why not build it. Here is a link to my files on Photobucket. I just want to say that It's just a model not an exact but my impression of her. Hope you enjoy. Mean while I'll be looking at other helis in ths group. ArtworksIII http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y342/A...pg&newest=1
  15. Hi All. Just wondering if any of you in your travels to airshows have seen one of these BeechCraft Dukes? This one is in a Hanger at Feltsfield Spokane Wa. I really want to build this model. http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y342/A...pg&newest=1 Ps Lots of nice models going on around here!!!!!!!! I've bee looking at some of the build posts and still wonder how to import photos from photoBucket to this forum? Can anybody tell me how I can do that? I think it would be easier for viewers to see the photos here rather than on photoBucket. Thanks ArtworksIII
